2. When did you first decide that you wanted to be a Nutritionist?
Around a time when I was a child on a visit to Physician I observed the most common question asked by the general public was 'what to eat?' No matter what their prescription was or if they wont their family would ask about the dietary recommendations. That was the moment I thought this is an important question to address by becoming a Dietician.
3. What aspects of nutrition do you feel are most important to address when consulting with people?
The most important aspect of nutritional counselling is to identify the important information about a patient's health. Address each concern and focus on practical actions to address nutrition deficiencies. Approach must aim at long term lifestyle modifications in their comfort zone.
4. According to you, what should be an ideal diet for today's youth?
I think a disciplined diet is the best approach for youth today. Diet which includes at least 4-5 servings of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, good quality protein and fibre. Concept of balancing calories needs to be stressed for greater impact and effectiveness.
5. When did you decide you wanted to be a writer?
When I was involved in research at Asian Institute of Gastroenterology that is when I developed interest in writing. Both my Master's dissertation from India and England are published in International Journals.

I was offered to contribute articles for New Indian Express - Newspaper then magazines and now I am an author at Just for Hearts.
6. Where does your inspiration lie?
My inspiration is in the question the patient asks when leaving the physician's office regarding dietary recommendations. I feel content when an advise helps a person to live a more healthy lifestyle and achieve health-related goals.
7. Which is your favourite book and why?
Ramadan Diaries 2020 is my personal favourite not because I am the author of the book but 100% of the sales proceeds were donated to Islamic Relief Canada to support the urgent medical care and treatment of orphans in need all around the world. This was also listed as best seller in the etiquette category at Amazon kindle.
