There was a period that I started hearing very often, from different friends that I should share these experiences and knowledge in a professional way.
1. Tell us about your background and journey and when did you decided to create content?
I'm a psychologist and my career in Brazil was in Human Resources.
As a city explorer and outgoing person, I was gathering a series of information about our charming pink city and I was always sharing all of them with great pleasure to my friends by whatsapp groups. There was a period that I started hearing very often, from different friends that I should share these experiences and knowledge in a professional way. They used to say that they were sure that more people would like to have access to everything I know and many even joked that I knew more than the ones who were born here. The final take was when a very close friend said to me to open an account on Instagram - it made me think.
Well, two years ago, this connection made super sense for me, my eyes shone and my heart beat faster with this idea.. and I said YES and decided this is WHAT I WILL DO!!! And that’s how a Brazilian psychologist became a Digital Creator, where Jaipur By Marcela was born and our JBM family started - which I'm very proud of.
On my platform, you will find your lifestyle guide for the best side of this city Jaipur City through the eyes of a Brazilian with an Indian heart. We are committed to transparency, ethics, honesty, to share only what I genuinely approve and believe, what matches with my values. I think it was all of these that my community became interested and started to grow. In our JBM family, we exchange feedback, give tips, explore the city together, we are together on vacation too, we get inspired, we grow, and we exchange positive energy.
3. Is vlogging and content creation a financially sustainable career?
It’s not financially sustainable yet, but it will be.
4. What does your topical day look like?
Our day is interesting, dynamic, exciting, fun and dynamic. We are always producing and writing content and stories. Reading DM, emails, newspapers, magazines, books, checking others accounts that can inspire me. Visiting customers. Negotiating new contracts and looking for news.
5. Who is your favourite creator and why?
My favorite creators are 2 From Brazil, one talks about digital marketing and another talks with the audience in a way that suits my style too.
6. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?
Be useful, Authentic and Creative. Make true connections with your audience.
7. Tell us something about your culture and country?
Brazilian culture is rich and diverse. We are a multicultural people. Our cultural habits received elements and influences from indigenous peoples, Africans, Portuguese, among others. We are a people full of possibilities, we are, in general, a warrior people, multi-tasking, hardworking, and very cheerful and warm. We are predominantly a catholic country and non vegetarian. We have freedom of expression and of being who we are. Ahhh, marriages are not arranged.
8. What do you love the most about India?
Population is very receptive and warm. Many possibilities for business and growth. I think India is addictive because of its enchantment within chaos with many unexpected moments. It's a country that takes you out of your comfort zone every day, we've grown a lot here. I feel Jaipur is my Home now.
