Our brand motto is and will always be about staying authentic and true to self and to others while incorporating the same principles into our content. Organic is the word we throw around a lot during roundtable discussions. The journey from Nashville to Los Angeles has and still is a wild ride for us, which is documented on our YouTube channel. 

1. Tell us more about your company and your journey.

BURKENRODTV was founded on September 11, 2015, in Nashville, Tennessee by 3 fraternity brothers who wanted to create various content from entertainment and comedy to interviews and commentaries to even podcast and Livestream broadcast. 

Our brand motto is and will always be about staying authentic and true to self and to others while incorporating the same principles into our content. Organic is the word we throw around a lot during roundtable discussions. The journey from Nashville to Los Angeles has and still is a wild ride for us, which is documented on our YouTube channel. 

From having everything to having nothing to starting over from scratch. A testimony would describe how far we have come along the journey, to say the least. Even during the pandemic, still strive to create various content for our viewers and supporters, because, at the end of the day, it is not about us. 

It’s about those who need their medicine of laughter and comedy, that’s our job to show up and deliver what the people want and need…the organic way.

2. How did you come up with this idea and go about executing it?

We were sitting in our living room in Nashville and started randomly talking about different stuff that was happening in the music and entertainment world. So we decided to film the conversation and turned our content into commentary on entertainment using comedy & honest personality. 

Once we moved to California is when we started incorporating our weekly roundtable discussion to lay out everything we want to do for the month and to catch up on the current status of various projects to release.

3. What is your company's unique value proposition?

Our company's most unique value proposition is through all of the challenges that were placed in front of us, it’s the resilience that keeps us going and never gives up, no matter what the naysayers thinking or do.

4. What sets it apart from its competitors?

Staying authentic to our craft and true to ourselves as creators, as human beings. We are not just a fad, a phase, or a trend. We are here to stay for longevity and as a household name. 

5. What makes you happiest and most effective when working with others?

Walking in the room or any space, with pure intentions of only being great in your own way, the energy being reciprocated, and with understanding, no judgment is what makes us the happiest when it comes to collaboration with others.

6. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced along the way, and how did you respond to them?

Some of the challenges we faced along the way, of course, losing people you thought were there for you. Seeing people for who they really are can be an ugly picture to see, but you have to examine to know how to handle the viewing. 

Going homeless while trying to stay happy and be great was the biggest challenge ever because it was confusing to others as to why are we happy and living in the state of homelessness. We will never understand why people are happy when you’re at your lowest, but when you don’t even pay them any attention and continue to be great, it can cause confusion and chaos.
