According to me, a cinematographer should have strong visuals and eye for detail. A cinematographer has to be a storyteller. They need to understand the storyline of the video and understand and portray it in the way it is meant to be. Presentation skills and the hunger to learn something is also a must.
A good cinematographer is not determined by the quality of the camera or lights they own.
I'm the younger child in a family of 4. I've done my schooling in a Marathi medium school. My inquisitiveness for editing grew when my father gave me my first mobile phone which had a video editing feature. I started shooting and editing small videos of my friends. This inquisitiveness grew over time and I started liking and learning more about videography and editing.
I've worked in a photography company wherein I used to retouch the photos of their products. I've also worked in weddings as a videographer and editor. I also work as assistant director and editor for many music videos.
The realisation came during my college days. I've done my graduation in Mass Media. During graduation, I got many opportunities to shoot and edit videos for various projects and intra-college competitions. I started shooting and editing a lot of videos and my interest piqued by it

I'm not an avid reader and I haven't read a book yet. Instead, I watch a lot of tutorials and informative videos available online and on YouTube. I am not formally trained in editing.
During college, my friend Vinayak Ghoshal came up to me with the idea of a dance company and asked me to be part of the company as a videographer and editor. That's how our journey as Natya Social started.

How did you get the opportunity to work with "Team Naach"?
I started working with Team Naach in 2018. My friend Vinayak Ghoshal used to attend teamnaach workshops and he introduced me to team naach. The first video I shot with Team Naach was for Nimit Kotian's channel. They liked my work and called me up for their shoots.
Team Naach was a growing company and I was humbled to be a part of them. It's been 3 years working with them and I've learnt a lot throughout this journey
