1. Tell us more about your Company and your journey.

Rohit Sharma - I founded Shaadidukaan.com: where I provided an easy wedding planning marketplace for a hassle-free wedding. After gaining corporate and entrepreneurial experience, I founded this Company in 2015. 

Shaadidukaan.com is the fastest-growing online wedding-planning marketplace. Making the wedding planning go #WEDTECH, the Company provides a platform to the customers to avail services of 46 wedding categories online. It bridges the gap between customers and wedding vendors.

Shaadidukaan.com is an online channel where wedding vendors connect with the customers to let the buy and sell of weddings happen. Making things even more convenient, we hold a support channel to assist the customers and vendors with a good approach. 

2. How did you come up with this idea and go about executing it?

While attending a family wedding, I found how difficult it becomes to execute a wedding without any hassle. So few people on whom the responsibility lies for execution are busy and still get to hear about some of the other things left undone. Also, when it comes to India, weddings have been a special carnival celebrated for days. 

This fact made me plan for an online wedding marketplace, Shaadidukaan.com. When it comes to the execution of the idea, I first launched the beta version, and by taking the feedback of customers, I improved the model and launched the pro version that accomplishes its purpose.

3. What is your Company's unique value proposition, and what sets it apart from its competitors?

We believe in 100% delivery for whatever we mark to our customers and vendors. Therefore, we have crafted the best packages for our wedding vendors at the most reasonable prices. 

Also, when it comes to wedding customers, we supply price negotiation and budgeting services to ease their wedding needs. 

4. What makes you happiest and most effective when working with others?

I always believe that no challenge can bother you if you have a strong approach. Being a founder with industry knowledge, I prepared a proper road map for my startup. Recruiting freshers and youth gave me a wide scope of training them with perfection, and working with a good team makes it easy to execute work easily.  

5. What are some of the challenges you've faced along the way, and how did you respond to them?

Startups face challenges at every phase of time. Executing the plan, preparing a good team, ensuring customer satisfaction were some major challenges. However, my approach to following a corporate structure in Shaadidukaan and the ethical code of conduct that I inherited from my family and experience made it easy for me to fight the challenge.
