1. Please tell us about your background and journey.

Hi, I am Harshita Sehgal and I am a content writer by profession and Food blogger by passion. Well, my journey started back in May 2017 and I am grateful that I have come this far with everyone’s support. It all started with my love of clicking food pictures and relishing them.

I thought when I am so interested in something why not work on it and show it to the world. So I started food blogging. However, due to my job I was not able to pay much attention to the page, but then a lockdown happened. And I realised that we must always take out time for our passion, hence I started again and now I really enjoy making recipes and entertaining my audience.

Blogging requires a lot of effort, from planning to uploading a post. It takes a great amount of thought.

2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

It has to be North Indian cuisine. Well, it is difficult to choose just one dish but I am very fond of butter chicken, and chole bhature.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

I believe that one can turn their passion into a regular career as well. There are many examples in the food blogging industry.

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

For non-vegetarian lovers, I would recommend -  Rajinder Da Dhaba, Karims, Havmor and Gulati's. And Sandoz serves delicious Vegetarian food. I love South Indian from Sarvana Bhawan. The Big Yellow door is my go-to cafe.

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

The flavour, aroma and taste of the dish. These two things are something that makes me appreciate a dish. For restaurants food quality and service, speed is something that has to be impressive.

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

Momos. I am a big big fan of momos.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

Not fond of reading books but I recently read Ikigai and loved it.
