I am not in race of success and all I just want is to be happy with whatever I am doing in life. If I'm not happy, I'm not content and if I'm not content then what is the purpose of life.
1. Tell us about your background and journey.
Oops! Okay so I am from defense background, achieved my commencement on Business Studies and I have also worked with some good groups like Tech Mahindra Ltd. and many.
2.Did you ever think or dream of being an actor?
Hahahah! It was once there in my ideas as a child but as I said I am coming from a tight family background. This vertical is a taboo for my family. There is no way thinking of it that I go this far. But yes from childhood I used to be so much into dance, sports activities and was also a very creative person.
I am blessed I would say. My hard work paid off. But never got a chance to be the part of this field much. As I told you it's not an easy journey for me.
3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor?
See, I dropped my studies, I dropped my career and all, so that I can stay my dream at least once. Initially, I tried to becoming the part of reality shows. And tried explaining the world of cinemas that I am different, I am talented. Because if you don't know anybody there, you have no connections then it's really time consuming.
Though I am not at a very social person, it made my journey a little more tough. That's so the only reason I only became an actor till date not a star hahaha.... Just kidding but yes a bitter truth.
4. If not this, what would you be doing?
Frankly speaking may be married, or I'm sure handling so good team in some Knowledge Process Outsourcing or may into Public Relations or into Biz.
Believe in your guts as in yourself, I'm gutsy because I Believe, I trust my guts. That's my favorite tag line for all of those who really want to try themselves in any field or actually want to be a part of this race. I'm not saying it was easy or it will be easy because we actors live a really insecure life but never lose hope.
6. What is your mantra for success?
For me I'm not in race of success, all I just want is to be happy with whatever I am doing in life. If I'm not happy, I'm not content and if I'm not content then what is the purpose of life. As simple as that, little philosophical but yes this is who I'm and this is the meaning of success for me.
7. Which is your favorite book and why?
I recently, finished this book "Ikigai" I mean it's all about life, happy life, spreading smiles, and about living in the moment. It's about being grateful and reconnecting with nature, and as I'm a nature lover so.... I mean it's all about our happiness. At last I just want to say "Follow your Ikigai Guys".
