My first ever important milestone which boosted my social media and the commercial journey was hitting 1M+ views on one of my covers on YouTube. And so on it has been continued as everyone can see!
1. Tell us more about your background and journey.
I am Sudhanshu Raj Khare, I'm currently 21. I live in Lucknow and belong to a middle-class family and have just completed my graduation. I'm a singer, music producer, composer, guitarist & also live performer.
I have till date achieved 27k+ followers on YouTube and 10k+ followers on Instagram along with my 3 originals released till date.
2. When did you first decide you wanted to pursue music and how did you start?
You see music was always around me as when I was a kid my grandmother used to sing bhajans and used to play the harmonium while I used to get ready for school. She always used to make me sit with her for "riyaz" and wanted to imbibe the art of music in me.
But you know how kids are, same was I, I would never make it for more than 30 min and used to run to play. This continued till when one day while I was in school in 9th class news broke to me about my dadi's sudden death; my heart sunk I was really close to her.
I would miss her terribly and the only thing that would make me feel connected to her was music. Earlier I liked, enjoyed music but after dadi's demise I started loving music and from there I started my wonderful journey in this world of music. So it was class 9th!
I first started my musical journey through my school competitions where everyone appreciated me so much, be it friends, teachers. Then during my graduation, I used to perform in various college fests across Lucknow and hand in hand used to upload videos on social media.

3. Who is your favourite artist and why?
I believe, in the field of music or art in general everyone is so unique that it's difficult to choose one favourite artist. But yes, one artist whom I really look up to is me, myself after 5 years from the current date. And that gives me a boost to work harder so that I can make my future beautiful in every way!
4. Can you throw some light on opportunities one gets as a musician?
The music itself is an art that connects people so you see being a musician gives you opportunities to explore different types of people be it be other artists or different audiences through which we explore different types of cultures, language and trust me it's a beautiful journey.
Also, social media is the biggest tool for musicians to entertain, connect to audiences and also helps them in commercializing their talent if worked hard and in the right direction.

5. Is format training required or can one train themselves purely on the basis of talent?
I myself is a non trained singer, I am a self-trained artist and have learned everything so far from observing or watching, of course, YouTube has been a great help! I tried pursuing classical music but soon realized it isn't my cup of tea.
But giving an opinion on format training or self-training will be wrong as it depends on interest. But one thing is sure success doesn't depend on a certain way, it's a journey is different for everyone but yes hard work is needed, that's a must!
6. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring artists?
Simple rules stay authentic and also work hard till you succeed. As success isn't kept in a certain age, time bracket. It's just a matter of time but the best for you will come to you
7. Which is your favourite book and why?
I'm not a regular reader but out of few books that I have read, I would recommend, "Autobiography of a Yogi" as it helps in the overall development of a human which is a must need in today's time .
