Tell us about your background and journey.
Being an IT professional can sometimes be too tiring. But doing something you love along with it can be so refreshing. I've always wanted to make videos, but kept it for later considering my time schedule, job and of course in the end, what would people think. But lockdown was life-changing. It made us all go crazy for Dalgona coffee, Instagram reels and a lot more things. For me, it gave me a reason to make videos and post on Instagram. It wasn't easy in the beginning. I got very few views but somehow I wasn't stopped. Today I thank myself for not stopping even when I felt like I should.
What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?
Social media is for entertainment and if I as a person can entertain or make someone laugh, I think that is huge. Not everyone can do that. I enjoy making relatable and funny short videos on Instagram and I'm extremely happy to see the number of positive responses I get now. I sometimes watch my own reels to have a good laugh.
How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?
While bloggers can tell that they ate idli, influencers can tell you why, where, how, with what and wearing what they ate idli and why you should try eating idli the same way.
Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?

Influencers have genuine and trustable followers who see them as people next door and for the same reason promotions are done by them can be more fruitful. In this era, being an influencer can be extremely sustainable.
What do you think influences consumer behavior?
Social media influencers are the real stars now! That pretty dress an influencer wore can be trending in the market by next week. Social media promotions work just like how you recommend a product to your close friend but in mass.
What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
I've heard someone say that the best feeling in the world is when a person is crying and you make them laugh. Success is never about the huge number of followers; it's about that small set of people who enjoy your content, even if that is a single person.
How can someone become a successful social media influencer?
To be successful all one has to do is love what they do. If you are good at art, make art your content, if it is stand up comedy, that is your thing. Success will come by its way when you enjoy what you do.
Which is your favourite book and why?
Eat Pray Love is my personal favourite to read because it gave me the idea that to achieve something, the first step you have to take is to step out of your comfort zone.
