In government schools, children do not have easy access to resources. Most of these children are economically disadvantaged. It is a luxury to be able to mess with paints and colors, draw with colored pencils and crayons, play with modeling clay, or even create images on a computer screen as a child. All these things and more have been made possible through Aata Paratha.

Schools are visited by Aata Paatha in a colorfully painted van. Audio-visual presentations are made possible by the computer mounted inside the van. It has comfortable seats for children with teachers accompanying the van.

Data Paratha caters to students in classes I through VII. It aligns with the curriculum prescribed by the government. Thus, the children are taught their lessons with fun activities such as singing, dancing, acting, storytelling, audio-visuals, and the use of learning aids.

Adamya Chetana’s Holistic Approach to the Development of Children

The Aarogya Chethana program reaches the children enrolled in Annapoorna, their midday meal program. Due to a lack of resources- knowledge, finances, and confidence to approach health service providers, these children cannot access health facilities. That's where Arogya Chetana comes in.

Arogya Chetana's team of doctors performs check-ups for the children at the school. By doing so, they can identify children who need further help. They treat simple ailments on the spot. Others are referred to partner hospitals.

Satyagraha Green Lifestyle Movement

Under Sasyagraha Green Lifestyle Movement, Adamya Chetana has been planting trees every Sunday for the past 5 years and over 1.5 lakh trees have been planted around Bengaluru. Satyagraha is a mass movement that aims to encourage people to adopt a green lifestyle. Sasyagraha's Green Lifestyle call covers not only trees, but all aspects of our lives - Roti, Kapada, and Makaan.

Environmental concerns and rising pollution levels are two of society's top concerns today. Rising temperatures, depleting water tables, and drier lakes and rivers are all signs that urgent action is needed. In addition to planting more trees and pressing for action to revitalize water bodies, people from all walks of life are increasingly contributing their time and effort.

Trees and green cover contribute to greater oxygen availability and greater biodiversity. The result is a better quality of life for people and animals alike.
