Dark Secrets of Michael Jackson: A Singer or a Pedophile?

It surely is true when they say you should never meet your idols. At least in the case of a young James Safechuck and Wade Robson who were not even teenagers when they were sexually assaulted and brainwashed by their idol, Michael Jackson.

Who is Michael Jackson?

The “King of Pop” was an American singer, songwriter and dancer who earned his name to fame with his peculiar dance moves and songs in the 90’s. He is regarded as one of the most iconic and legendary musicians to exist with several hit songs including Beat it, Billie Jean, Thriller that are popular amongst the youth even today.

Born in 1958, this renowned figure got into the bad books in 1980 when the media began to question his change in appearance, behaviour and lifestyle. In the 1990’s he was accused of sexually abusing a child and the allegations against did not stop since.

Michael Jackson Allegations

A Michael Jackson documentary film was released in 2019 titled “Leaving Neverland: Michael Jackson and me” which portrayed horrific details of the singer’s encounters with Safechuck and Robson who were aged 7 and 14 when they were molested.

Michael Jackson’s life was everything but a thriller. He would manipulate the kid’s into thinking nothing was bad. The irony is that the smooth criminal wrote songs to heal the world but failed to look at the man in the mirror.

Dark Secrets

  • For a little boy of 7 who admired Michael Jackson, the singer and abuser was surely a dangerous man. Robson was introduced to Jackson during a local competition where kids would impersonate him. Robson caught Jackson’s eye and accompanied him on various tours from then on.
  • Robson and Safechuck, the only two victims who are vocal about the abuse stated that Jackson had taught the boys to dress themselves up as quickly as possible so that no one could suspect anything wrong in case they were caught in the room.
  • Some of his critics were of the opinion that Jackson had built a separate “Child room” where he would take his victims. However, it was recently confirmed by his bodyguard that it was a panic room which was built before Jackson moved in.
  • Jackson’s hallway to his bedroom was a strict security zone that was fully covered by video footage and wired for sound. The loud ding-dong/ bell like sound of footsteps would alert him about someone approaching his room.
  • James Safechuck said that Michael Jackson ‘married’ him on one occasion in the hotel room with vows and a ring that bonded them forever. He would give Safechuck some rings in return of the sexual favours to make him believe in their sacred bond.
  • Jackson told the boys that they were brought together by God and that they were meant to be. They were told to avoid holding hands in public but had a secret code of scratching the other’s palm to let them know that they were sexually thinking about them.
  • On one occasion he was almost caught with Safechuck in a movie theatre room which was designed for children with immune deficiencies. The latter’s mother almost entered the room but it was locked. She saw the two sleeping on the bed but since they were fully clothed, she didn’t think anything further.
  • Jordan Chandler, Jason Francia and Gavin Arvizo are three other boys who were abused by Jackson and their lawsuits were settled with a huge sum of money which is why they have kept a low profile with the media.
  • Michael Jackson even had pet names for all his victims and was very vocal about his love for children. Chandler and Arvizo were called “Rubba”, Robson- “Little one” and Safechuck was called Applehead.
  • Jackson suffered from vitiligo, a skin discolouration disease. Chandler had drawn a picture with the markings on the underside of Jackson’s penis and sealed it in an envelope. A few months later during the investigation, the same marks were found on Jackson’s genitalia as Chandler had drawn.
  • In 2019, investigators found a collection of erotic material and bondage picture of small boys in a suitcase under his bed. There were pictures and magazines with the fingerprints of Jackson and a few other boys on the same pages.
  • Jackson bought his Neverland ranch to carry out his sexual activities since there were many secluded places there. The Neverland staff confirmed that women, including his two wives, were never seen at the ranch even when they were married.
  • Jackson gave the mothers of his victim’s expensive gifts in return of the favour. Robson’s mother was given a permanent resident visa, the Safechucks were given a house and Chandler’s mother received a diamond bracelet. The mothers remained oblivious to the situation of their young children.

Although the King of Pop has had a controversial past drowned in controversies, his fans have remained loyal to him and supported him throughout his life. Although his actions are condemned, it is important for the people of the world today to separate the art from the artist.
