2. When did you first decide you wanted to pursue music and how did it start?
I was put to music class as my parents always wanted me to do something more than just a regular school education, so I was always pushed to do a lot of sports and co-curricular activities during my school days. Once such a thing was my Keyboard class. Later when people actually started recognizing me and when I was getting noticed because of my music, and later when we started performing shows and saw some revenue coming from it, that's when I thought of taking Music as a Business.
3. What has been your biggest challenge that you faced and how did you overcome that?
Fortunately, I never had any such issues as my parents were super cooperative, in fact they have made all the facilities that I wanted, they just wanted me to do my best in whatever I did. So , I have been blessed and I have never had any such challenges.
4. How did you come up with this idea and go about executing it?
I have been a musician for the last few years, and have been playing with bands for almost 7 years now. The problems we faced during our jam session and recording session as a band, I wanted to solve a few of those problems at a very reasonable rate for the budding artists , thus I decided to start "Aalaap Factory".
Before I started, we had a small jam space inside my house where my band used to Jam often, and I always wanted to rent it out to others and make some small pocket money, but with support from my parents ,I ended up setting up a professional Jam Room & Recording studio.
We had empty space in my dad's office building and I decided to utilize this space. Made a proper business plan and pitched it to my dad , and he decided to fund me for this project. So I did my homework and went through a lot of videos and spoke to a lot of the Industry experts and made my dream project in the span of 3 months. Once I started I wanted to make it big, so decided to do my Masters in Entrepreneurship ,which helped me in discovering a new dimension of Music Business.
5. Who is your favorite artist and why?

Music is like an art, they can teach you how to hold the brush and tell you what colors you get while mixing 2 colors, but it's all your imagination and creativity that makes a good painting, just like you practicing it and expermening will help you make good music. You should have good ears and listen to alot of music and take inspiration.
