Varun Sarin a hotshot writer with his latest bestseller book like any other romcom bumps into his would-be lady love Sia an upcoming lawyer with a dysfunctional family. As cute-charming as the two come across the story too has some new kink to it.
The story starts off in Mumbai and shifts to London. Hitting off again and again the two decide to give it a go. But not wanting to mess things up, Sia pops up the idea to have go on dates only Tuesdays and Fridays.
Both of them try to play it cool and cavalier but both of them are equally psyched. Every Tuesday and Friday gets better and happening and leaves the two wanting for more. The plot is unconventional and interesting at some points.
Varun has a deep connection with his mother and he also has a special bond with the old lady at the cafe he was living above as a tenant. There is nothing new with the overall background though, with its ingredients blending into the same recipe as any other chick flick just with a different cast and theme.
The plot thickens when they expect more out of their 2days week date and end up making love and also going together at a wedding.
Personal Verdict

With a new cast and a slightly different theme, the movie is a one-time watch but has nothing new to offer in terms of content.
With a two-day date rule and an author-lawyer combination, the plot does pique your interest and if you have a heart for rom-coms then you can definitely tolerate this, but for someone looking for a classic or a unique love story, this might not do the job.
The screenplay doesn’t do much to impress and the same old family drama of past issues and fearing to commit but not much to abstain from sex and dating. So, coming up with the same idea of eventually falling in love might not click, however, it isn’t unbearable to watch.
Bottom Line
The movie felt interesting in the beginning but ended just like any other romantic movie but definitely had some mindful pieces to enjoy. The couple is sweet, the place in London, and the dates are exhilarating so you can definitely give it a go on Netflix this Saturday if you have nothing to watch.
There isn’t a lot to say but these new actors' chemistry wasn't boring. In fact, it was intriguing, and maybe more than the story the chemistry drove the vehicle in this case. So, for fans of typical romantic comedies, this one can be delightful.
