1. Tell us about your background and journey.
We are two foodie sisters Neha and Anshu from Bihar.
One morning, I and my sister decided to create a YouTube and Instagram account specifically to share our love for food. We both were thrilled to set out on our blogging journey as we always admired the variety of food Indian cuisines offer. When we first began we had never thought we would receive such a positive response. Even though we have over 260k followers now, the number doesn't matter to us- it's the incredible support and love that motivates us.
2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?
We love a lot of different dishes, but if we have to choose one, then it will be Butter Chicken.
There's satisfaction and pleasure in every bite of it.
We love Indian Cuisine especially North Indian Food as nothing else can ever have such flavorful recipes and all the authentic blends of spices. The spices, herbs, flavors of Indian food manages to create a niche in everyone’s heart. We choose Indian food over everything.
3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?
We have seen many bloggers who have taken food blogging as a full-time career and they are earning quite well but if we talk about us we followed our passion for food and are still doing it by showcasing our talent across multiple platforms.
Coming on to a regular career can be converted as a full-time career for bloggers as blogging give a lot of opportunities which might be difficult with a full-time job but for us, it is our passion and will be in the future
4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?
1. Milan Restaurant for North Indian Food(Bihar)
2. The Royal Phular(Bihar)
3. Nathu's Sweets (Varanasi)
5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?
We primarily look at the taste, quantity and quality of the dish always. For us when it comes to butter chicken we always look for the gravy thickness, little sweetish tint and chicken tenderness of course.
For any restaurant, we always look at staff behaviour, ambience, quality of food they are offering and cleanliness for sure.
6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?
Yes, any day and anytime we would go with Butter Chicken and Pav Bhaji as we both are hardcore foodies and love the flavour and taste of it.
7. Which is your favourite book and why?
We are fond of so many books but if we need to suggest one it will be definitely “The Power Of Karma".
The name itself describes the concept of this book. Karma is very powerful and it comes back to everyone. Being strong karma believers we only trust the divine power of god a lot that we know he has his hands on us and he won't let us down ever.
Also, I would like to mention "The Wings Of Fire" the autobiography of Dr Abdul Kalam, which showcase that one can achieve their goal with hard work and passion.
I think that everyone should once read this book.
