Born on 4th April 2004, I, Manya Saini, emerged as a 19-year-old content creator whose blend of fitness, fashion, and lifestyle content has captivated audiences since February 2023. This is the story of my journey, driven by childhood passions, self-discovery, and a relentless pursuit of personal growth.
From a young age, creativity flowed through my veins. In my early years, I found joy in sketching dress designs, and meticulously labeling price tags in a special book, a harbinger of the fashionista within me. As I hyperactive child as I entered the fifth grade, my interests expanded to sports, including basketball, throw ball, and athletics but did not like the way I felt being skinny because while I didn’t think of it as a problem, people made comments which made me insecure and thus started fitness training. Little did I know, these diverse interests would later converge into the pillars of my content creation journey.
In February 2023, I took the plunge into the world of content creation, initially focusing on fitness. Drawing from my personal struggles with being skinny and under weight and a desire to become stronger, I embarked on a journey of self-improvement and empowerment. As I shared my fitness journey, I discovered a community of like-minded individuals seeking inspiration and motivation.
In October 2023, I decided to diversify my content by incorporating my lifelong passion for fashion. The fusion of fitness and fashion became the hallmark of my content, resonating with a broader audience. This dual focus allowed me to express my creativity and share the transformative power of both fitness and fashion in shaping one's self-esteem and confidence.
Creating content became a profession and a powerful tool for personal development. The challenges I faced in my fitness journey mirrored
the obstacles encountered in life, each one conquered making me stronger, physically and mentally. On the fashion front, embracing different styles and experimenting with looks translated into newfound self-confidence and a genuine love for myself.
As the one-year mark approaches, I find immense joy in the work I create and the positive impact it has on my audience. With aspirations of becoming a model, I am determined to continue pushing boundaries, inspiring others, and showcasing the harmonious blend of fitness, fashion, and lifestyle.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what it is about?
In my journey, growing up as a slender child subjected me to constant mockery and bullying, leaving me feeling insecure and often questioned about my eating habits. Determined to overcome these challenges, I joined the gym and embarked on a transformative fitness journey, achieving significant results.
Motivated by my own experience with body shaming, I decided to share my story on Instagram, realizing that I wasn't alone in facing such struggles. Witnessing the positive impact of my transformation, I felt a deep desire to inspire others who had undergone similar hardships.
My foray into the world of fashion was sparked by a moment of reflection while watching 'Cruella.' Recalling my childhood passion for designing dresses and pricing them in a special book, I recognized the evolution of my fashion sense from being ridiculed for my clothing choices to receiving inquiries about my outfits. Inspired to become a beacon of encouragement for my younger self and others, I aimed to impart the transformative power of fashion in shaping one's identity and fostering a love for exploration.
Reflecting on my journey, I envisioned my Instagram page as a source of inspiration for every 13-year-old who has faced bullying and body shaming. Through the resources at my disposal, I strive to convey the message that anyone can take charge of their transformation, embracing self-love and acceptance. If the 13-year-old me could witness the person I've become at 19, I believe she would feel a sense of pride and inspiration, recognizing the resilience and growth that has taken place.
3. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
My idea of success revolves around the power of transformation and self-love. As a 19-year-old fitness, fashion, and lifestyle content creator, I've faced my share of bullying and body shaming. My journey on Instagram is not just about showcasing physical changes, but it's a tribute to the 13-year-old version of myself who endured those struggles.
Success, for me, is inspiring others to take charge of their transformations, embrace self-love, and rise above societal judgments. It's about turning adversity into empowerment and fostering a community that celebrates individuality and resilience.
4. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?
Becoming a successful social media influencer requires a strategic approach, dedication, and authenticity. Some key steps to pave the way for success in the competitive world of social media include: identifying your niche to build a targeted audience; creating compelling content that reflects your personality and resonates with your audience; understanding your audience and their interests by regularly engaging with your followers through comments, polls, etc; stay authentic; consistent posting schedule; collaborating with others; networking; staying updated about new trends, new algorithms, etc; etc.
Remember, success in social media influencing is a gradual process. Be patient, stay committed to your brand, and always prioritize the needs and interests of your audience.
5. Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?
Absolutely, being an influencer in today's digital landscape can indeed be financially sustainable. The key lies in diversifying revenue streams and building a strong and engaged audience. Brands are increasingly recognizing the value of influencers as authentic voices that can connect with consumers on a personal level.
Through brand collaborations, sponsored content, and affiliate marketing, influencers can generate a substantial income. Additionally, platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok offer monetization options that can contribute to financial sustainability. Moreover, creating and selling merchandise, and hosting workshops are effective ways to enhance income.
However, it's crucial to be strategic and consistent in content creation, maintain authenticity, and adapt to industry changes. Building a long-term and sustainable career involves not only creating appealing content but also understanding the business side of the industry. By diversifying income sources and staying attuned to market trends, being an influencer can indeed be financially rewarding.
6. How would you distinguish the term blogger from influencer?
The terms 'blogger' and 'influencer' are often used interchangeably, but they encapsulate different aspects of the digital content creation landscape. A blogger is someone who primarily focuses on creating written content, often in the form of blog posts, where they share their insights, experiences, and opinions on various topics, including fashion, fitness, and lifestyle.
On the other hand, an influencer is a broader term that encompasses individuals who utilize various digital platforms, not just blogs, to build and engage with a dedicated audience. Influencers leverage their personal brand to inspire and impact their followers' opinions, behaviors, and purchasing decisions. They may use a combination of visual content, such as photos and videos, across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and others, to connect with their audience.
In essence, while a blogger is more focused on written content and might primarily operate through a blog, an influencer adopts a multi-platform approach, utilizing diverse content formats to connect and influence their audience on a broader scale. As a content creator, I see the value in both roles and aim to leverage the strengths of both blogging and influencing to create a well-rounded and engaging experience for my audience.
