"Creating relatable content, not just consistency, is what made my reels go viral and helped me transition into a thriving modeling career."
1. What inspired you to start modeling in 2021, and how has the journey been so far?
During the Covid lockdown, I started creating reels just for fun. One of my reels caught the attention of a music album team, and they approached me to play the female lead. That experience sparked my interest in modeling. I began working on music albums and shoots in India before moving to Qatar to explore opportunities in the Middle East. The journey has been exciting, and I’m hopeful for what lies ahead.
2. Your reels have hit 50M views—what’s the secret behind creating viral content?
I wouldn’t say that consistency alone ensures growth. For me, creating relatable content has been the key to making my reels go viral.
3. How has your commerce degree from DU helped you in your modeling career?
Honestly, my commerce degree hasn’t directly influenced my career since modeling and commerce are completely different fields. I pursued the degree mainly to study at Delhi University.
4. What qualities do you think are essential for success in the modeling industry today?
The industry is full of challenges and intense competition. My advice to newcomers is to avoid paying agencies—it’s unnecessary and can often lead to exploitation.
5. What’s a memorable lesson from working with brands like Amazon and Sephora?
Promoting Amazon MiniTV was an amazing experience. For Sephora, I attended a workshop in Qatar as a model where they experimented with different makeup looks. Both collaborations taught me the importance of professionalism and adaptability.
6. How important is authenticity when collaborating with big brands?
Authenticity is crucial for me. Promoting something misleading could negatively impact my audience. I always research a brand’s credibility before agreeing to any collaboration.
7. What’s next for you—any dream projects or goals?
I dream of collaborating with BMW because I love cars, and many of my viral reels feature me driving. I’d also love to see myself on billboards in Qatar or Dubai someday.
8. If you could collaborate with any celebrity or brand, who would it be and why?
BMW and Qatar Airways are at the top of my list. I’m passionate about cars, and BMW represents luxury and speed. As for Qatar Airways, being based in Qatar, I admire it as one of the world’s best airlines, and it would be an honor to represent them in any capacity.
