"Fashion is not just what I wear; it’s how I express myself, a passion rooted in my childhood, and a craft I’ve honed with every reel and collaboration."
1. Can you share your journey into modeling and content creation?
My journey began during my school days when I was a dancer. Friends often encouraged me to try modeling, thanks to my height and looks. While I stepped into modeling, I realized it lacked the creative freedom I craved. Simultaneously, I loved clicking and uploading photos, even in the Facebook era. When Instagram was still focused on photo uploads, I started sharing content there. The positive response and the joy it brought me made it clear this was something I genuinely enjoyed. Over time, my passion grew, and now, I’m grateful to do what I love every day.
2. What inspired you to focus on fashion and lifestyle content?
Fashion has always been a part of me, right from childhood. My mom used to dress me in unique outfits, sparking my interest. Back when I wasn’t earning, I’d shop at Sarojini Nagar with pocket money and create YouTube videos like “4 Outfits for Valentine’s Day.” Fashion is my way of expressing creativity, so transitioning into professional content creation in this field felt natural.
3. How do you select the brands you collaborate with?
I prioritize working with brands that offer creative freedom. Today’s audience isn’t drawn to monotonous, ad-like content; they prefer authenticity and creativity. When creators have the freedom to infuse their own style into brand collaborations, the result is engaging and genuine. It benefits both the brand and the creator, while also resonating with the audience.
4. What’s your creative process for producing engaging content?
I keep my content short, informative, and visually appealing. Since reels under 10-15 seconds are the most popular, I focus on creating useful and fun content within that timeframe. It’s about grabbing attention while offering value in a way that’s entertaining.
5. How do you ensure your content connects with your audience?
Authenticity is key. I stay true to myself and focus on building trust with my audience. As a fashion influencer, I strive to provide styling tips, outfit ideas, and fashion hacks that are genuinely helpful. It’s about fostering a connection that feels personal and relatable.
6. What advice would you give to aspiring fashion creators?
Be yourself and stay consistent. The field is competitive and ever-evolving, but it’s important to hold on to your individuality. Success takes time, so don’t lose hope or give up. With dedication and perseverance, you’ll achieve your goals.
7. What are your future goals or dream collaborations?
I aim to become one of the top fashion content creators and receive recognition for my work. For me, it’s not just about fame but about setting new benchmarks for creativity and passion in the industry.
8. If you could only wear one outfit from a collaboration for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I’d choose an outfit from any Indian wear brand. Ethnic outfits are timeless, elegant, and versatile. They represent my roots and always make me feel comfortable and confident.
