"I used to overthink every little detail before posting, but then I realized—the more you create, the better you get. Stop waiting for the perfect setup or script—just start!"
1. Eva, what inspired you to start your journey as a lifestyle content creator?
As a child, my dad would always bring out his camera and record videos of me every weekend. That naturally became something I loved doing—capturing moments and sharing them online. I’ve been filming and posting since I was a kid, but it was during COVID that my content started gaining more visibility. Somehow, I found myself becoming a content creator, and I absolutely love it!
2. How do you define your personal brand, and what keeps it consistent?
I wouldn’t say I stick to a single aesthetic, but my personal brand is all about authenticity with a touch of aesthetic appeal. I want my audience to feel like I’m their internet bestie—always hyping them up.
Consistency can be a challenge sometimes, but content creation has become a part of my daily life, so it happens naturally. The key is to maintain the same vibe—uplifting, cozy, and true to who I am—even if my aesthetic evolves. I show up on both my good and bad days because no one’s life is a Pinterest board 24/7!
3. How do you balance following trends while staying true to your individuality?
Awareness is key. There was a time when I wanted everything that went viral, but it eventually left me feeling guilty. Now, I don’t blindly hop on trends because, thankfully, being unique is the real trend!
Whenever I see something online, I take inspiration instead of copying it outright. I always remind myself—buy things that align with your style, not just because they’re trending. Basics go a long way, and you can style them in countless ways. Keep exploring, but stay self-aware. That’s the balance.
4. What does a typical day in your life as a content creator look like?
It really depends! Some days, I’m filming back-to-back, while other days, I’m glued to my iPad editing videos for hours. And then, there are days when I do absolutely nothing. That’s what I love about being a content creator—the freedom to set my own schedule.
5. What’s one lesson from your journey that you wish you’d learned earlier?
Definitely to stop being a perfectionist. My toxic perfectionism used to delay my growth because I would overanalyze every little detail before posting, even when there was nothing actually wrong. I’ve held back from posting so many videos because of overthinking, but in reality, the more you create, the better you get.
The biggest lesson? Stop waiting for the perfect setup or script—just start.
6. What’s your advice for someone starting out in lifestyle content creation?
If you want to do it, just start. The only right time is now.
And please, don’t do it just for brand collaborations—it won’t sustain you in the long run. Growth takes consistency, and the only thing that will fuel that is passion. Do it because you love it, not for the views or follower count. Numbers on a screen don’t matter as much as building a solid, engaged community.
7. If your life were a movie, what would it be called, and who’d play you?
Honestly, my life already feels like a coming-of-age movie inside my head, with me as the main character—except I often feel like a supporting role because I’m constantly navigating some kind of adulthood crisis!
So, I’d name it "Can I Call My Mom?" or maybe "Manifesting But Also Panicking."
