Q. Your content uniquely blends South Asian mythology with cinematic AI visuals. What inspired you to fuse these elements, and how do you approach storytelling through generative AI?
Growing up in a Tamil household in the UK, I was surrounded by mythological stories - tales of Krishna, Hanuman, Meenakshi - but I never saw them represented with the cinematic depth or visual power they deserved. When I discovered generative AI, with my prior knowledge in the creative domain for the past 10+ years, I realised I could finally bring those stories to life in a modern, immersive way.
I’ve always had a deep love for film - everything from cinematography and pacing to lighting and visual storytelling. So with Gen AI, I began combining traditional filmmaking techniques with modern tools. I approach each visual as a movie scene - thinking in terms of camera angles, mood, color palettes, and character framing. The goal is to create something that feels not just AI-generated, but truly cinematic.
For me, storytelling starts with emotion. I ask: What do I want the viewer to feel? Wonder, reverence, curiosity? Then I design scenes that balance cultural authenticity with visual impact. Generative AI becomes the medium - but the vision comes from the filmmaker within.
Q. Jayprints has rapidly grown to over a million followers in under three months. What do you think resonated most with your audience, and how do you keep that momentum going?
I think it’s the fusion of timeless stories with cutting-edge visuals. People aren’t just watching AI-generated content - they’re reconnecting with their roots in a new way. A lot of my audience, especially the South Asian diaspora, tells me they’ve never seen their culture portrayed so beautifully before. That emotional connection drives virality.
To keep the momentum, I focus on consistency and evolution. Every week, I ask myself - What haven’t we seen yet? What will make someone pause and say “Wow, I can’t believe this is AI”? Then I experiment, test, refine - and stay in tune with both the tech and the human story.
Q. You specialize in AI image generation, video creation, and voice cloning. Could you walk us through your typical creative workflow when developing a viral reel or cinematic piece?
Sure! My workflow usually goes like this:
Concept – I start with a powerful “what if?” scenario. For example: What if scuba divers discovered a colossal underwater statue of Lord Vishnu?
Storyboarding – I map the narrative arc like a film - from setup to reveal, using AI tools to visualize each shot.
Image Generation – I use Imagen 3 or Midjourney for high-resolution stills, ensuring continuity and realism.
Video Enhancement – If it’s a motion piece, I use Kling or Runway Gen-3 for subtle camera movements, making it feel alive.
Voice & Sound – I clone voices or record dramatic voiceovers, add sound design and music to heighten emotion.
Editing – I compile it all in Premiere Pro or CapCut, pacing it for Reels with hook-based structure.
It’s cinematic, but all AI-powered - and I keep it emotionally grounded at every step.
Q. Many creators struggle with the balance between automation and authenticity. How do you ensure your work retains emotional and cultural depth despite being AI-driven?
That’s a huge focus for me. I believe AI is just a tool - the soul of the story still comes from the creator. To ensure authenticity, I always research the cultural and spiritual context deeply. For example, if I’m showing Lord Shiva or Goddess Meenakshi, I refer to real temple sculptures, scriptures, and color symbolism from classical art.
Emotionally, I put myself in the viewer’s shoes. Will this make someone feel proud? Will it stir nostalgia? If not, I rework it. I also avoid over-polishing - sometimes a raw, imperfect visual feels more real than a flawless render.
Q. With generative AI evolving so rapidly, where do you see the future of AI-powered storytelling heading in the next 2–3 years, especially for independent creators and digital brands?
We’re at the start of a creative revolution. In the next few years, I believe hyper-personalized storytelling will explode - where one person can create a full cinematic universe from their laptop. Independent creators will build niche communities around myth, memory, or identity - and brands will collaborate with them to tell stories that feel human, not corporate.
Also, with real-time tools like Gen-3, Veo, and AI voice models, creators will become one-person studios. That means more global voices, more diverse stories, and less gatekeeping. I’m excited to see underrepresented cultures - like ours - take center stage in the digital age.
Q. What emerging technologies or trends in AI art are you most excited about, and how do you plan to push creative boundaries at Jayprints in the near future?
I’m especially excited about character consistency in AI (like what Flux Kontext is doing), AI filmmaking with tools like Sora and Gen-3, and the rise of multilingual AI voice clones. These are the tools that will make long-form, emotionally immersive storytelling possible - across languages and formats.
At Jayprints, I plan to build:
A multilingual AI podcast featuring reimagined historical and cultural voices, interactive mythological stories where the audience chooses the narrative path and a creator accelerator to help emerging artists master AI tools with purpose and emotion.
Beyond content, I’m also planning to grow the community I’ve built on social media into a platform and initiative that supports designers, creatives, and brands. The idea is to host real-world meetups, workshops, and creative sessions - starting with a launch in India this year. I want to create spaces where creators can not only learn but connect, collaborate, and reimagine the future of storytelling together.
The goal is to make AI storytelling not just viral - but deeply human, collaborative, and culturally rich.
