Behind the glamorous world of styling is someone who describes herself as shy, grounded, and driven by unwavering hard work. In this interview, she reflects on choosing passion over a conventional career, finding strength in family, and why authenticity matters more than success.

I bring a unique blend of business acumen and creative flair to the world of fashion styling. I'm now looking to expand my journey by working with new brands, artists & fellow stylists.

Q. Your work as a stylist has earned you a large, devoted audience online. But beyond the stylist people see on screen, how would you describe yourself as a person when the camera is off?

Off camera, I’m actually extremely shy and quite an introvert. I think people are often surprised to hear that because of what they see online, but I’m only really extroverted around the people I’m closest to.

Beyond that, I genuinely enjoy the simple things travelling, discovering good food, fashion, and films. I’m a huge Bollywood buff, not just the blockbusters but the flops too. I’ve probably watched more of the bad films than most people, and I somehow always manage to find something worth appreciating in them. I think that’s just who I am I like finding the good in things, whether it’s a movie, a person, or an experience.

Q. Looking five years ahead, how do you envision your growth both as a stylist and as a person? What milestones are you working toward?

Five years from now, I hope I’ve grown not just as a stylist, but as a person. Professionally, I’d love to expand into wedding styling and build a strong identity in that space. Personally, I hope to have a healthier relationship with work. 

I genuinely love what I do, and I want to reach a place where I’m creating from joy and passion rather than constantly functioning under stress. I also hope to keep travelling, experience more of the world, and let those experiences continue to shape both my work and who I am.

Q. If we stripped away the title of 'designer ' for a day, who would we meet? Describe yourself in 3 words that have nothing to do with your work.

Authentic. Honest and kind.

This is what my dad taught me, be it work or personal situation I priorities these 3 things the most.

Q. If you hadn’t become a designer what would your parallel life look like? What pushed you away from that path?

Maybe a CA, that’s what I studied and most probably would have taken that route.

Q. What’s that one storybook, film, or show you go back to when the world feels heavy? What does it give you?

Honestly, I don’t turn to a book or a movie in moments like these. I find my way back to God and my family. I often think about my dad’s journey it reminds me of resilience and gives me perspective. And whenever I need reassurance, I talk to my mom. That’s where I find my hope, my strength, and the courage to keep going.

Q. You’ve gone from being doubted for your choices to being admired for them. What’s one belief about yourself that changed the most during that journey?

Hard work, always. No matter what life throws at you, you don’t stop showing up. That’s something I learned from my dad. I’ve seen him face some of the toughest situations, and he never gave up. Watching him taught me that the only thing you truly control is the effort you put in. So whenever life gets difficult, I just give it my 100%. That’s what keeps me going.

My hands-on experience includes an internship under Hemlata Pariwal and assisting renowned Bollywood celebrity stylists Rhea Kapoor and Shereen. She styled for high-profile projects featuring Radhika Merchant Ambani, Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Neha Kakkar, Malini Agarwal, and more. I’m also a trusted stylist on retainer for celebrated artists like Shreya Ghoshal, Harshdeep Kaur, Anusha Mani, Salim & Sulaiman, and several digital influencers. Passionate about evolving trends and fresh collaborations, I’m now looking to expand my journey by working with new brands, artists, and fellow stylists, bringing impactful storytelling through fashion and style.
