1)Tell us more about your role & responsibilities at your college.

As a normal college going student I am not a part of any society of my college though I wanted to be. I am the class representative (CR) of my class and this I actually never wished as I did all this in my school life, I was the head girl of my school so I got the leadership skills from their only but my class insisted to be their representative. So, as a CR my role is to be a linking pin between the teachers and students. Now I have started enjoying this responsibility actually.

2)What's it like to juggle between a leadership role and normal college life?

Some students think that being a class representative is very easy and also you enjoy a lot while handling this but the reality is it is not at all easy. You have to listen to the students as well as teachers and moreover on behalf of your class you are scolded by the teachers. It’s just not a normal college life.

3)Do you enjoy the kind of influence you hold at such a young age?

Yes, of course. Dealing with different students thoughts for other students and teachers and the related problems is sometimes interesting but not every time, as you come to know so many different points of view for a single person. We can't make everyone happy and satisfied. So, firstly understanding them and then making them understand so that they shall not get offended, is very tricky. Thus, it's a good exposure to different people which I think will help me in future to easily adjust with others.

4)Do you have a message for parents to allow their kids to do things besides academics?

Yes, I really want parents to understand that not only academics are important for the student. Not every topper has a job or is successful and happy in their life. Co-curricular activities are a must for a child and that also should be in the interest area of the child. It gives an experience to how to handle them and their emotions in every situation and with others

5)What did you do in your current role that makes you feel really proud of yourself?

I like to interact with different people and know them. Their way of thinking and many other things. And in my current role, I do it on a regular basis and I am happy.

6)What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Students should do internships and attend the conferences as according to me it builds confidence in the students.

It helps them to know how they can eliminate the fear in them and express themselves the way they want.
