1. Tell us more about your background and journey.

I belong to a middle class Punjabi family. I started learning when I was in 8th
class and completed my sangeet visharad in 2015. In between this time I quit
music for a while due to lack in studies.

Then I again get back to music and after my schooling I did preparations for accounting section about a year later I left and after that I have started doing music professionally. I applied in schools for some permanent income.

After saving money I planned for my start up plan of music academy which is named as - MUSIC SCHOOL OF ROCK and started doing singing performances in Spiritual and Bollywood music.

I have released my 2 songs, JAANE JAANA & YAARA. By these songs people started loving my voice and work. I always feel thankful and pray to God for giving me music as my life.

2. When did you first decide you wanted to pursue music and how did you start?

After my schooling, I started learning light classical music from Shri Ram
Bhartiya Kala Kendra. There I got chance to meet so many artists by sitting with
them listening to their stories I got motivated and took a decision to be a
musician and choose music as my career.

Then in Mandi house we used to go National School of Drama. There I gave much music to various plays. Then I started performing with some singers, I got stage experience from there and started giving back vocals to various singers.

People started knowing me and my journey goes on and on. Afterwards music profession became as my income earning platform.

3. Is it a financially stable career?

Yes it is, if you have good knowledge and have patience to achieve it.

Also, you should have good exposure to showcase your talent then you can see benefits of it.

If you remain stable then from my side it’s a no that you can earn well from it.

Sometimes the graph goes up sometimes down, you have to face both the situation depending upon your hard-work and skills.

4. How is your favorite artist and why?

Arijit Singh has been one of my biggest inspiration and favorite artist. This is
because of his behavior and his journey.

His career is so motivating and he shows traits of a true artist. His whole life he has showcased language of a pure artist by his talent and not focusing on any other thing than music.

5. How and where did you find the inspiration to churn out content?

Social media is a good platform to show your skills and capabilities. I decided to
use it in a right way. And now our team has started Madhavas Records in which we all perform commercial songs.

I got inspiration from so many good and talented artists who don’t come from a good background but have great career in music and they are working from their full hard- work.

Like we all know Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh and many others, by watching them I decided to create my own style like them. Artist’s stories like theirs inspire us.

6. What does your typical day look like?

My typical day starts with music then I go to music school to teach so many new
talented upcoming artist who wants to pursue music ahead in life. I give guidance and support to them to learn music.

After school, I teach in my academy where my team member Prajwal Puri, Austin Tamang, Mahender sir are there to help and support me. After academy time, I go for some good food and I love food.

Then I spend some time with my family and then at night I like do some studio work or work on any music event, then I went to sleep and end day peacefully.

7. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring
artists?

My advice to all future artists is to work hard. Do not cheat with your music. Try to be yourself through your music.

Don’t take shortcuts in life like, social media it doesn’t make artists.

Today people are so dependent on social media; to be good singers instead you should work truly with your whole devotion to your talent of music. Social media is must, it can be temporary but it will not make you artist permanently.

So work hard on yourself to be talented artist. You should have forgiving nature and not be egoistic. Just stay humble, calm and stay true to your work and yourself, then success will automatically reach to you.
