1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Studied finance but fashion feels natural to me. As a kid, I remember playing dress-up with my sister and I guess that paved the path for me.

2. What inspired you to create content and how did you chose your niche?

I always knew I wanted to do something in the field of fashion. My sister was the one who introduced me to the world of blogging and ever since then there’s been no looking back. I started sharing my #ootds on Instagram and was approached by different home-grown brands to style their pieces. After years of exploring and experimenting I’ve come to terms with what suits me and defines me.

3. How long does it take to create a loyal follower base?

My journey in blogging began 5 years ago, back then blogging was a whole new concept, and not too many were aware of the trend. Being constant with content creation, curating innovative concepts for the brands and connecting with my followers as to what they would like to see more often on my handle has helped build me a community with a loyal following. The last 3 years has been a total game-changer for me with exposures through many amazing brand associations.

4. What are the revenue streams for an influencer?

Revenue streams are plenty for an Influencer. It can be through advertisements, events, brand collaborations and promotional content on social media platforms.

5. Who is your favourite influencer and why?

Chiara Ferragni and Aashna Shroff are my favourite influencers. Their sense of fashion and work is truly inspiring.

6. What have been your 3 biggest learnings from being an influencer?

  • Discipline
  • Keeping a positive attitude
  • Patience
