1. Tell us about your background and journey.

So, I'm from an upper middle-class family who loves to play cricket more than anything. My journey isn’t that easy to explain. It’s a long journey that contains 14 years of my life. Currently, I am 21 years old.

2. How did you decide to make your passion your career? Was your family supportive?

Yeah, my family is truly supporting and helping me from the start. Since my childhood, I took inspiration from my father who loves nothing but cricket. Surprisingly, my mother was a big fan of cricket too. That's why I got enough support from my family to convert my passion into reality.

3. Who is your favorite player and what have you learnt from him/her?

Absolutely its none other than. MS Dhoni. He’s an absolute legend of the game who's so calm and composed whatever the situation is. No one can perform a better role than him in the history of cricket.

He has succeeded as a Captain as well as a Batsman in cricket. He is the best at whatever he does. I've learned a lot of things and I am still learning from him. He's the greatest of all time.

4. What is the level of commitment and time required to make a sport a career?

Time is required to make your career in sports as well as it is up to the commitment that you have on your game. I cannot explain better than this.

5. How can we encourage more youngsters to take up sports as a full-time profession?

In this modern world it's not easy to do so. You've to motive them when they face any struggles. Because they have lack of knowledge in the game and it would spoil their interest in it. So, you've to make them stronger mentally so that they can face well and truly on their game. That's what real encouragement is!!

6. Which is your favorite book and why?

SHE (Social History of England) is my favorite book till date. As I have been pursuing my education in the literature department, I used to expand my knowledge only by reading this book. This book is absolutely a gem.
