I'm a Mechanical engineering graduate from Delhi College of Engineering, currently working with an MNC in Gurgaon, Haryana. Also, I'm a passionate dancer equipped with techniques in popping style. It was not so easy to manage academics and your passion together, however, I couldn't afford to lose any one of them. I believe dancing has helped me throughout this journey of ups and downs.
2. Who is your favourite dancer and why?
My favourite dancer is Greentech from Canada. He puts a lot of hard work in every move he does. He has literally practised every single muscle in his body and has an excellent mind-muscle connection. Check him out.
3. Is format training required or can one train themselves purely on the basis of talent?
Format training is required especially in the earlier stages of your dance career. If you are talented, it'll be easier for you to grasp the concepts, however, a decent knowledge of foundations and techniques is the essence of a good future in dancing which is quite difficult to find online these days. Later you can train yourself.
4. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring artists?
To be successful in any type of artform, Stay consistent and passionate about it. Help others and learn from everyone.
5. Which is your favourite book and why?
It's too difficult to choose one book. Just for the matter of this question, I would recommend "Brian Greene - Fabrics of cosmos". I like reading books on Quantum physics, Chakra engineering, psychedelics and Astrophysics.
