1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I have always been a foodie, and also one who doesn’t like to cook. So eating out was always something I loved, I knew about food blogging and I found it pretty interesting, so one day when I told my friend about that thought, who pushed me to start a food blog and eventually it all began with my food blog on Instagram, @one_lastbite.

2. Which is your favorite cuisine and dish?

My favorite cuisine has to be Italian. I’ve always had a liking for all kinds of Pasta and most other Italian food too. So Pasta has to be my number one to order when eating out.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

I feel like one should always initially start with any kind of blog as just a passion because you definitely won’t earn from that right from the beginning. Also, you might feel like you are interested in it before starting, but things are very different when you actually try them.

So in my opinion, food blogging like all kinds of blogging should be started as a passion which you build from scratch and you can take up as a career if you feel like it has potential and you can take it further from there.

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

Talking about Delhi, I would definitely recommend Diggin Cafe, Chanakyapuri. Starting from the food to ambiance to service. Everything is perfect. You should not miss out on that beautiful place. Also, I like Cafe Delhi Heights which has a great family atmosphere, if that’s what you’re going for.

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and
talk about it on your blog?

For me, the food of a place is the first and foremost thing that matters. If I love the food and it is actually good, I don’t mind standing on the roadside eating gol gappe, and if the food isn’t good. I would not waste my time at a highly recommended place either.

So taste and to some extent quality & presentation matters for me, and that’s the kind of food I post about on my blog. Delicious, clean, and appealing. And of course, if it’s at a place with a great ambiance, it’s definitely a cherry on the cake!

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

As I said, Pasta is my go-to. I associate it with myself because it can go well with anything like veggies, chicken, meat, etc. The same way I also accept any kind of food item graciously and give my generous reviews.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

My favorite book is Twinkle Khanna’s Mrs. Funny Bones. Honestly, I’m not a big reader and this is one of the few books that I’ve read and actually enjoyed. I love Twinkle Khanna’s sarcasm and satire, and how she is so open to talking about anything and everything.

That's also one book that I read in one go, and quite honestly that’s an achievement for me. So yes, I’m really fond of this book for the way it is so real, interesting and keeps the reader engaged.
