1. Tell us more about your role & responsibilities at your college.

I’m a Journalism and Mass Communication graduate from Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal. Being at university is the most beautiful time in one’s life. I was the Rj for Lakecity voice in my college. Along with public speaking, I had done anchoring events and programs. I’d give upmost credit to my university for bringing me up and believing in me.

2. How did you rise up to your position and how can a student aspiring the same, approach it?

I started doing paid events in the city, wedding events, and corporate shows. I am a freelancer host. I started with college events and later with professional anchors. My self lessons have taught me well too. For a student who aspires to be a speaker, anchor, or a host should first believe in himself/herself and start attending events and public shows. And never stop learning from the professionals.

3. What have been some of your biggest challenges and learnings from what you do?

Being an anchor is a job of hesitation! There have been a lot of personal challenges that happened with me on/off stage. I lost my confidence at points, knowing I have the will, I still felt I ain’t enough. But where there is negative, positive lies around. I’ve learned a lot from failures and disagreements with people.

4. What did you do in your current role that makes you feel really proud of yourself?

It was amazing when I was done with 10 paid events, more meaningful when I received the treasure within myself. I do live guest sessions with Instagram Facebook pages promoting art. Along with studies, I do events and studio recordings. For my personal growth, I read, do households and write, etc.

5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

You learn best when you know you can! Always put your will to do more and more. Internships bring the best in you. You work for your own, you get to learn, you do mistakes for which you get corrected. Never stop reaching to where you can learn.
