1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am a 19 years content creator, born and brought up in Kolkata and also a self-taught makeup artist. I love to create content based on my lifestyle, fashion, health and also makeup. But coming from a Bengali middle class family, influencing didn't seem like an option to my parents.

I am studying Zoology Honours in Kolkata. After completeing my graduation, further study in abroad is my next goal.

I always loved to influence others by my experience. The starting was obviously
not as easy as it is right now though. But my one and only plus point is that I
never ever give up.

I kept posting high-quality contents including tutorial videos on makeup looks and also pictures on fashion etc.

Posting regularly and staying connected with the audience helps a lot to me. Lastly, my journey till now as  an influencer has been very very fulfilling.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

I have always loved art. I always love to express my feelings through arts and drawings. But over the years, the canvas kept changing from my drawing book to my face and body.
I want to influence my people by every way about Fashion, Lifestyle, Health, Makeup etc. So that is how I started my page on Instagram about daily Lifestyle, Beauty and Fashion, hoping that I could inspire people also motivate them to follow their dream path.

3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?

That is actually a very interested topic. Well for me Blogging is more like sharing your own personal story online, kinda your personal diary that you are sharing online. Here specially you talk about your daily life or like sharing things you are doing.

But Influencing isn't like that. As an influencer, it is our first priority to influence others by your knowledge, maybe it can be your lifestyle, your experience, your struggle etc. We do everything hoping that atleast one person is inspired by us. By sharing ways, we want to motivate people to follow their dream path. For me that's the difference between Blogger and Influencer.

4. Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?

Yes being a social media influencer is financially sustainable for a long time. But the only key is that you've to put a lot of effort. I'm still growing. But as my experience, to reach here I put efforts.

Posting high-quality content regularly and always staying connected with my audience really healped me a lot building the growth amd connections. It surely takes time to work your way perfectly, but you should never ever stop.

Still now I'm doing it alone. Hope my strategy of not giving up will help me to grow more. To be honest in current situation, it became a little bit harder to be an influencer financially. Because there's so competition. You have to update everything to stay on the trend. But still it's not impossible. Willing is the best key.

5. What do you think influences consumer behavior?

In my opinion the behaviour of consumer influenced by mainly the assurity from the seller, and the brand value or trust over the product and also the reviews. Besides the social value or any previous reference may influence the consumer, moreover the consumer must be influenced till he or she is satisfied.

6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

The only mantra of my life is- FOLLOW RULES PROPERLY TILL YOU GET SUCCESS IN YOUR LIFE, BUT THE RULES MADE BY YOURSELF.

7. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?

Well I myself is following this rule though. In my opinion, you don't need a lot number of followers or likes or views to become a successful social media influencer. If anyone is motivating by me, them I'm already successful. So I think to become a successful social media influencer, you have to stop thinking about the quantity, and start thinking about the quality. I believe one thing that is STOP HARDWORKING FROM TODAY, TAKE A SEAT, THINK WISELY, AND THEN START SMART WORKING AND JUST RELAX.

8. Which is your favorite book and why?

My favourite book is "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn. Since the day I read this book, it helped me realise the truth, realise who I am, how I see myself in this world, realise what this world actually is. It taught me that our journey always leads us to our destiny.
