Food Is Happiness for Everyone and We Can Spread Happiness Through Food - Krati Jaiswal

I was sitting in a restaurant and there I realised that everyone is so happy and enjoying the food that gave me a spark that food is happiness for everyone and we can spread happiness through food.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I was born in a middle-class family of city Kanpur. My parents have always been very supportive and have always taught me to be very ambitious and have big dreams. I always wanted to do something that I love doing no matter how much time it takes or how much struggle I have to do to achieve it.

Like every middle-class family, my parents also wanted to settle for some job and have a secure career, but for me, it was a big 'No'. Currently, I am pursuing my graduation and a diploma in event management from Lucknow. I am also preparing for my entrance exam journalism college IIMC.

2. What led you to do Food Blogging?

I was sitting in a restaurant and there I realised that everyone is so happy and enjoying the food that gave me a spark that food is happiness for everyone and we can spread happiness through food.

So I started sharing about the places and things which can help people in finding better places for their moments. I was always a big foodie so I also wanted to taste all types of Dishes and share my experience with all.

3. What does your typical day look like?

I wake up by 7 am and I have made a  rule that I don't touch my phone before 9pm. I meditate, exercise and get ready before 9. Then I plan my day and check out if there is any meetings or something important. By 10 I begin with my freelance work.

Then I devote my time to studies. I read a lot about food so I spend time reading about new recipes. I devote my 4 hours of the day on social media from engaging to posting and other work. My rest of the time goes in creating content. That's all about my day.

4. When did you first decide that you wanted to create and write content about food i.e. for blogging?

It was a random thought I was on a random date where I was in a restaurant suggested by some influencer on Instagram they posted a great review about the food and taste was horrible I realised it's very important to speak up the truth there are many people looking for real reviews.

I won't let anyone spoil their time of enjoying food. I started reviewing. It was after 30 days of starting my food page I started reviews. Before that, I just shared food pics I thought food gives happiness, which definitely does but reviews play a major role.

5. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

Yes, I associate myself with 'Panipuri'. I am sweet at times and spicy(angry) at times, and that's what makes me and my life.
