The Content Should Always Be Original - Dr. Ruby Chauhan, Priyanka Chauhan

We would just say that make videos, vlogs, hauls or whatever you like the most of your interest but the content should always be original and you should have the content on hand to share to maintain the consistency.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

We are a team of two; Dr Ruby Chauhan (BDS, pursuing Master of Public Health) and Priyanka Chauhan (B.Tech and M.Tech). We have been doing craft work since our school time and now it’s our hobby to make things out of waste and decorating home using handmade crafts.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

We always loved to make creative things in our free time and used to keep them with us. And one day about a year ago we thought of making videos of those crafts and started a YouTube channel named “Let's Get Craftin” with the link as this is the era of internet, it’s a pretty good idea to share your talent and one can also earn through that.

3.  What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

We would just say that make videos, vlogs, hauls or whatever you like the most of your interest but the content should always be original and you should have the content on hand to share to maintain the consistency.

4. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

From day to day life events and based on upcoming events or festivals and also from the suggestions from the audience. And most importantly with the material which is easily available to anyone.

5. What does your typical day look like?

We live like normal beings as we have our college classes, assignments, and other things as regular college students. So with all these things, we find some time for making crafts for the videos.

6. Which is your favourite book and why?

We both are not fond of reading but a few months back I (Ruby Chauhan) have started reading “Shri Ramcharitmanas- Ramayana” and till now I have understood so much about humanity, respect and an individual’s the behavior for the particular condition. Like you may be right at your end in an argument but what if the person is also right from his/her end, so we cannot judge.
