Ambuja Naik - Adaptability Comes Naturally to Me, and So Does Adventure

My creativity is constantly flowing, and I keep creating fresh content daily, and its equal parts fun and challenging because I’m the creative head, but I’m also the actor, the scriptwriter, the director, the camera person, the editor, all of it by myself. I’m loving it!

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I come from an army family, a very humble and patriotic background. I grew up across different states, based on wherever my father was stationed, and so I ended up having roots and friends everywhere. Adaptability comes naturally to me, as does adventure. And I’m always ready for more.

My parents always maintained that education is the one thing that nobody can take away from us, and I ended up studying psychology in degree college out of my intrigue and fascination for it, along with the natural knack I have for understanding everybody’s position and feelings at all times.

My life has been full of love, loss, and adventures, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content, and how did you start?

I’m an actor by profession now because my passion drew me to it. Throughout my childhood, the focus was placed both on quality education and participation in art. So I was always on stage, performing, dancing, debating, and I loved being up there, expressing myself, all eyes on me.

The pandemic and lockdown this year put a break in that, and since I couldn’t act outdoors, I started doing it inside, on the internet. It grew like wildfire, and I have loved every second of it.

My creativity is constantly flowing, and I keep creating fresh content daily, and its equal parts fun and challenging because I’m the creative head, but I’m also the actor, the scriptwriter, the director, the camera person, the editor, all of it by myself. I’m loving it!

3. Who is your favourite blogger, and why?

I have a couple favourites; Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, Sedoso, themermaidscales, thatbohogirl, Masoom Minawala, thecozyvibe, and a couple more. I really like their work, creativity, and their approach, I look up to them and hope I can grow to do great work like them soon!

4. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

I’m a very imaginative person, and multiple thoughts are constantly flowing through my mind. I’m also very dramatic and filmy, and that adds a lot of fun to it. I’d just be sitting and having a conversation or doing some work by myself, listening to music, or see something on the way to somewhere and there, a concept and a whole storyline takes birth in my mind!

I note it down so as to not forget. Then I can’t wait to get free and get to it. I have a whole list of such concepts I still intend to make, and I will. One by one!

5. Which is your favourite book, and why?

I wouldn’t say this is my single favourite series, but I absolutely love the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. I read it a long time back as a teenager and its just one of those books that stick with you.

Its got thrill, adventure, action, a sci-fi concept and it's so incredibly well written. I also love Blood Memory by Greg Iles.

6. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring bloggers?

Just listen to your heart and go with what it says. Very cheesy, very corny, but its the one advice which will always be on their side, and work for their better.

Fears of judgment, people talking, fear of not making it, and a million other types of doubts and worries will always find a way to stick around. But if you simply go with your heart and do whatever makes you happy, you’ll learn that the world just makes space for you and loves you for who you are!
