The plastic that we are proudly making as part of our daily routine is now being inserted in our veins and making us hollow; very hollow. This discovery of chemistry has become a slow poison for humanity.
Ongoing Defects
Due to lack of adequate
system of recycling, there are piles of plastic here and there. Naturally it is
not aseptic. In hundreds of thousands of years, its axle is getting mixed in
ground water.
The water we drink,
microscopic particles of plastic have started to be found, in many places this
plastic is also found in salt made from sea water. This plastic will further
make our generations sick. Now you have to think whether to save your
generations by avoiding plastic or leave them to their fate.
To warn about the increasing
threat of plastic around the world, it is also the theme of the Earth Day being celebrated on
22 April, eliminate plastic pollution.
An Unapologetic Future
The result of our negligence
is that plastic waste is increasing in the sea, it is feared that by 2050, more
plastic waste will be seen from the fish in the sea. However, efforts are also
being made to deal with it.
Plastic can be rated as a major discovery of the 20th century, but at the same time it has become equally destructive. Today there may not be God in this country under every stone, but there is definitely plastic.
Two big reasons have brought plastic to this level
today. The first is the government's generosity and the second is the
interference of plastic in every need outside the house.
The situation is that every year 15 thousand tons of plastic is in our midst and is used every day. This type of plastic turns into just waste, which has no place. Out of the 15 thousand tons, only six thousand tons are collected.
Now that per person will
use 45 kg of plastic per year in the world, then suppose that plastic will be
seen more than agriculture. Be it rivers or seas, plastic has started filling
everyone.
We cannot deny that in all
the uses where we are giving attention to plastic today, we were in the past in
some form or the other, which we discarded as simple plastic. The move to find
alternatives to plastic will also lead to other village-based jobs.
About five million crore
plastic materials floats in the ocean. And not only this, about 267
different species of animals, ranging from cows to fish and other animals, are
swallowing plastic. This has become a major danger for them. Preparation of a
big plastic alternative should be our big step.
Governments should also ban
all plastic products and controls, where plastic is often used and limited to
specific products.
