One of the most memorable performances for me was The Sleeping Beauty, choreographed by Peter Wright. It so happened that the soloist who was supposed to play the main role, for health reasons, wasn’t able to go on stage.

So on the day of the premiere though I haven’t been in the cast, I had to jump into the whole ballet without having a single rehearsal and not knowing the choreography! I was shocked, but I must say that it was one of the strangest and most enjoyable performances in my career.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

When I was 5 years old, my mother sent me to character dance school, where my older sister was already studying.

I must admit, at this age I did not know what dance was and did not understand anything about it, but even then I was insanely interested and began to like it very much. After a year in character dance school, my teacher said that I should try to go to ballet school, which I did and I am very glad!

3. What is your Daily Routine like?

Every day in the theater starts with a ballet class, which is compulsory, in my case at 10.00 to 11.15 and then various rehearsals take place all day until 17.30, sometimes until 20.30 so that’s how my working day looks like.

4. Which is your most memorable performance? Why?

One of the most memorable performances for me was The Sleeping Beauty, choreographed by Peter Wright. It so happened that the soloist who was supposed to play the main role, for health reasons, wasn’t able to go on stage.

5. Which changes do you wish to have in your Industry?

The ballet industry has been functioning for a very long time and there is no need for global changes, but I would really like the dancers to have more opportunities to work with different choreographers and different styles, which will certainly help in the development of classic , modern and contemporary Dance.

6. Which Ballet Dancer inspires you the most and Why?

There are many legends and incredibly talented dancers in the ballet world. I can list their world famous names for a very long time and they all inspire me in their own way, but I consider it more important to be able to see, analyze and learn from each dancer!

The profession of a ballet dancer is not very easy and very often it is unbearably hard and painful. I want to advise young artists not to give up and go towards their goal in the work that we love so much.

8. Which is your favorite  Book and Why?

Pushkin's novel Eugene Onegin is one of my favorite works of Russian classical literature. For me, the history of human relationships will never lose its relevance. with each new reading, the novel only becomes more interesting for me.
