Steve Jobs, the man behind Apple, was born on 24 February 1955. 

He revolutionized the entire technology sphere before he died on 5 October, 2011. He was an American businessman, investor and media proprietor.

He is the founder of the world's most trustable technical company, Apple.inc an also the shareholder of Pixar. He is a part of the board of directors at the Walt Disney Company and a founding father and chairperson of NeXT company.

Jobs also introduced personal computers in the 1970s and 1980s  with co-founder, Steve Wozniak.

Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco, California and was an orphan. He was adopted as an infant and raised in the Bay area of San Francisco.

Steve Jobs was an unpredictable man. He joined Reed College and dropped out in the same year. In 1974, he travelled through India seeking to get enlightened by Zen Buddhism.

Two Co founders, Jobs and Wozniak, sold their first Apple personal computer in 1976. 

Their partnership made them wealthy and prosperous with Apple 2, which was introduced a year later.

Together, they brought about many changes in the technological world. 

Xerox alto which is mouse driven and graphical user interface (GUI) was made famous by them after the product gained their trust.

After the success of the Xerox Alto, the development of the Apple Lisa, in 1983,was unsuccessful. 

Macintosh followed up their breakthrough in 1984 which is a mass produced computer with Graphical User interface.

Drawback of the failure of new products, Steve Jobs lost his position in the Apple company after facing issues with the company's board and then its CEO John Sculley in 1985. 

However, Jobs proved that he is a genius with founding the company, NeXT in the same year.

He took the help of some Apple members and formed a  company which provides a platform for the development of computers needed for higher-education and in the business market.

He also started funding and developing the visual effects industry and funded George Lucas's Lucasfilm in the graphics division in 1986.

In 1986, a new company Pixar produced the first 3D computer animated feature film, Toy Story in 1995. 

Many animated films were produced after Toy Story and he played a major role in the animation production of films thereafter.  

Steve jobs is no more with us but his work is still recognised and respected by people around the globe. 

Everyone remembers Steve as an Apple company founder but his contribution in the field of technology deserves as much recognition too.

  • Steve Jobs is an adopted child. He has been very reserved about his personal life and did not talk much about it but his biological father, Abdulfattah Jandali, was  a Syrian immigrant.
  • You don't need a college degree to pursue your dream. It is hard work and smart work that will help you to become successful in your life. 
Steve Jobs is a perfect example in proving this right. He does not have any college degree and in fact, he is a college dropout. 
  • Jobs started wearing turtlenecks because of his employees. Apple employees did not want him to wear a company uniform.
   He started wearing turtlenecks when he visited the Tokyo headquarters of Sony and admired the minimalist Miyake-designed uniforms which Sony  employees wore.
  • Steve Wozniak, who co-founded Apple with Jobs, once said that Jobs is not into technology as many people think of him to be. He is business savvy and not tech savvy.
  • The earliest computer that Steve Jobs made was auctioned for nearly $500,000. He is quintessential in teaching us a lesson to never underestimate your work.
  •  Steve Jobs dated folk singer, Joan Baez in 1982, 10 years before he met his wife Lauren Powell. Jobs later commented, " a serious relationship between two accidental friends " in the context of his relationship with Joan Baez.
  • Steve Jobs wanted the primary iPhone to be used just as a  phone
  • He was a genius who died saying "OH WOW, OH WOW, OH WOW '' according to his biological sister who was present when he took his final breath.
  • He didn't meet his biological sister until they were  in their twenties.
  • He wasn't into the concept of the "Genius Bar". Everything is not specified in Apple stores according to Jobs.

When Apple hired Ron Johnson for their first Apple store. Ron has the responsibility to come up with the now signature Genius Bar. And Jobs said it "idiotic".
