Priyanka Ahuja - I Love Creating Food Content, but I Never Restrict Myself With Experimenting With Something New (Food Blogger From India)

I believe that every industry has its own challenges, so does the blogging industry have. Sometimes people capture the content which is not relevant but still provides a good reach, so they push Fanta Maggie, Oreo Maggie, or the biggest roll of Delhi, etc.  I believe it’s a food wastage so I personally avoid doing it.

Tell us about your upbringing, background, and journey.

Hey, this side Priyanka Ahuja aka Thefoodaholicgal. Since childhood I used to be the biggest foodie in my class, the reason behind it may be because my father is into a similar industry. He is an Event planner, so he used to bring all the good food at home, full of spices and bilkul shadi wala khana. So we used to have very less of Ghar ki bani dal and more of dal makhani, shahi paneer, butter naans, and my favorite moong dal halwa :P

By profession I am an Architect, I create designs and I am into the professional world of designers but by heart, I am always a foodie, who can skip anything but not food.

When did you start blogging?

Even in my college days, my friends used to say the way you eat and explore food options, you should be a food blogger. My family was like being a foodie you may belong to a similar industry. From there maybe the journey started, the love and support from my friends and family made me reach here. Even my cute little brother supports me, encourages me to create content, Also, the major strength was the audience, who believes in my work, who loves my work, and are now a part of thefoodaholicgal family.

What type of content do you enjoy creating more - lifestyle, food, or travel-related?

I love creating food content, but I never restrict myself with experimenting with something new, If you see my profile it’s a mix of informative, funny, food-related videos.

Also, recently I started my YouTube channel as well, creating content purely for restaurants, cafes, and carts, you can simply search Priyanka Ahuja on YouTube to know more.

What have been the biggest challenges you have faced in this industry?

I believe that every industry has its own challenges, so does the blogging industry have. Sometimes people capture the content which is not relevant but still provides a good reach, so they push Fanta Maggie, oreo Maggie, or the biggest roll of Delhi, etc.  I believe it’s a food wastage so I personally avoid doing it.

And there I lack creating content which getting more reach and engagement. I miss going with the trend so I miss reaching out to more and more people.

What does your typical day look like?
