15 Unusual Games That You Would Not Believe Exist


Some unusual spots are a little crazy. These sports look impossible to believe but require skills and effort. Some of these sports are truly special, others are a surprising fusion of two different types of sports. 

Chess-Boxing: 


This game is punching sport boxing and combines with a thinking game chess board. Players interchange with chess and boxing games for 11 rounds. The purpose of this game is to strike hard at your rival player to weaken his ability to think while playing chess or confuse them with chess game plans, and change their concentration from chess. The winner of this sport is decided by checkmate or knockout. 


Sepak takraw:


It is similar to volleyball and popular in South East Asia. In this sport players can pass the ball using any body parts except the hand. Players using a ball made of dried palm leaves. Erlear sepak takraw was not a compilation game, rather a cooperative game and designed for exercising the body. The net version of the game had gained popularity in SouthEast Asia and rules were introduced for the game. It is commonly known as kick volleyball. 


Quidditch:


This was first played as an activity at Middlebury College and based on broom- flying in the movie Harry Potter. Many colleges provide this sport, and also in the country's universities. Players throw balls through circular rings at the opposite ends of the playground much like in the movie 'Harry Potter', while copying the imaginary flying form of the game by players holding  broomsticks between their legs. 


Dragon Boat tug-of-war:


This sport has two groups of people Rowing the same longboat against each other, while sitting at opposite ends of the same boat which is called a Dragon Boat. This boat is a rowboat but double in length of a normal boat. The Dragon Boat tug-of-war works differently, it mixes up with padding the other team pushing them back and moving to the center point. The Polish have invented this paddling game.


Zorbing:


It is one of the strangest sports, and pretty simple. Actually, players got inside the puffed big ball and started rolling continuously. It looks strange but funny. The player bounces around inside the ball and enjoys the thrill of speed repeatedly but they're protected fully from  hitting the ground. Zorbing is a globally popular sport often called global riding or hill rolling. This inflatable ball has been combined with other sports such as soccer, where players repeatedly knock other players down and have more fun.


Tuk-Tuk Polo:


The game was adopted by traditional polo to replace the version of polo played on elephants and horses. And now it can be played from Three-wheeled vehicles called Tuk-tuks in Thailand.  Two teams of Tuk-Tuk players are in this game. Here one player serves the driver and the other as the player, who strikes the ball  using sticks. Similar to previous polo games. The game's purpose is to score more goals by kicking the ball with sticks, and the ball is similar to a cricket ball. 


Underwater Football: 


It is similar to other unusual spots like Underwater rugby and Underwater hockey. It is a two teams sport and played in a swimming pool using Scuba Diving equipment and a slightly heavy ball. In this game is to move the ball from one side of the pool to the opponent side of the pool and place the ball in the goal or gutter to score points. Different types of balls were used in the history of the sports, but  now basketball or football can be made heavy by filling with a liquid ( corn syrup or strong saline solution) which makes the ball heavier than water.


Psycho ball:


It is a sport of combining football and bicycle, it's popular in Europe for a long time. Players are used to control and throw the ball with a bike and also move the ball. Here players must use a fixed gear bike without break. So injuries and crashes are common and it's a difficult game. It's a little dangerous and unusual sport.


Unicycle hockey: 


Unusual spots invented for more exciting form of hockey. Just like ice hockey. In this game hockey played in unicycle, each player mount on to their unicycle while playing the hockey. If you're not mounted on your unicycle you can not touch the ball. Each team sends five players but no specific goalie. While playing hockey on unicycle and without falling is look impossible. But it is not a fun game, there are unicycle hockey leagues in the world like Germany, Australia

and Switzerland. 


Ostrich racing: 


Ostrich race with jockeys and horrified speed the bird can reach an astonishing speed and make the race exciting, funny and also dangerous. It is normal for jockeys to fall off from animals,  because they have very fast speed. It is also played in ancient Egypt, riding an ostrich. The race became popular in the US, with Arizona ostrich racing festivals. Animal rights organizations say it causing the ostriches feel unnecessary fear and discomfort


Shine kicking:


The game's purpose is frequently kicking your opponent in their legs ( below the knees) to bring them to the floor. Before the game starts, players have to wear a lab coat for a reason, then you can start struggling and kicking your rival player.  A referee also  lab coats and watches carefully on the game to ensure the sport's regulations. The place of origin of the shine kicking is England. 

 

Dog surfing:


It is the coolest sport for animal lovers, especially for those who love dogs. Dog surfing involves trained dogs which stand on the surfboard, sometimes going alone for surfing or with their human companion. Dog surfing is judged by the dog's overall activity on the board wave size and the time they stand on board means their ride length on board. 


Extreme Ironing: 


All the sports in the world, this is really one of the weird things. These Ironests will travel to the very bizarre and extreme locations for ironing compilation, like forest, mountain, underwater and even ice or cold water just proves the make new records for ironing. Rules for this sport is actually simply go and iron the clothes in any remote or extreme place. One more thing is not that some dispute about weather it's actually a sport or not. 


Wife-carrying: 


A male player carries his wife in the race, to see who can win in an obstacle race. Dropping a wife during a race is not allowed. The track of this game has dry and water obstacles, the minimum weight of the wife is to be 49 kg.


Toe wrestling:


Like arm wrestling, toe wrestling also involves two players locking toes and trying to pin each other's feet and the best of three is the winner of the game. It is no amaz that this sport was created by drinking mates who wanted to create a competition. The place of origin of the game is England.
