1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am a 19 yr old student who is currently working as an affiliate marketer with an Ed-tech platform called Bizgurukul. Basically, I am based in Delhi and pursuing 

B.Com in my further studies and as far as my journey goes I have achieved a lot in life in these past two years, life has really changed for good

 

2. Where did you find out about Affiliate marketing and what's the journey behind it?

Lockdown made the situation very drastic for everyone and just like other common families I too had to bear with financial issues. I had a garment shop of my own but I had to shut it down because of the loss and then came Bizgurukul as a saviour for me I got to know about this platform from a fellow friend and things got better.

 

3. How are you able to manage college with your work?

For me, degree is not the priority skillset so I am not a regular college student I study for exams and spend most of my time building my skillset for better future opportunities

 

4. Tell us about your role & responsibilities at your college. Are you a part of any society or have you taken part in any event?

As I said I am not a regular college student and with distance studies, I hardly interact with anyone at my college campus so not really social with people there

 

5. What challenges did you face when starting your career in finance and marketing and then establishing a social media presence?

Before bizgurukul also I had a social account and used to make video content as fun material but when I got to know the real value of content creation I decided to work on content delivery and started with consistent uploading and interacting with people the main challenge that I faced was to decide the niche and work progressively with content that can actually help people

 

6. What skills are required in this field? How can others learn them and how do you teach them?

7. What and how do Ed-tech platforms provide earning opportunities to others?

There are multiple earning opportunities for people from Marketing to freelancing and with new segment of finance mastery one learn trading too. 

So this way people can start working as affiliate marketer with Bizgurukul Or any other well known sites like Amazon and Flipkart Or they can learn skills like content writing, copy writing, email marketing, podcast and etc to become a certified freelancer and to add on to this they'll be provided with a course called LinkedIn mastery which will help them to get better opportunities by giving them proper knowledge about LinkedIn ( from profile building to basic tactics for higher acceptance).

 

8. What did you do before finding his opportunity?

Before finding this opportunity I had my own garment shop which I to shut down due to lockdown crisis.

 

9. Any experience you wanna share which can help readers in any way? 

When it comes to experience at a young age I have been in and out of all kinds of situation and all I want the readers to know is that start early and keep pushing yourself for betterment, people might giggle at your ideas today but same will come with open wide smile to appreciate you.

So be a better version of yourself and never give up on yourself. Never underestimate your true potential.

 

10. What thoughts did come to your mind before starting this didn't you think it's a scam or something?

Thoughts were very similar to the ones which people will get while starting something absolutely new and that too at a digital platform… I had no doubt on the legality of the platform as I saw enough proofs and testimonies about the results created by fellow students the only thing that was triggering was self doubt which I decided to overcome and give my 100% for every coming challenges and after that it was a smooth sail all I did was follow the instructions and trainings and within a  month I started getting results.
