Bhangarh fort is located at the border of the Sariska Tiger Reserve in the Alwar district of Rajasthan, Bhangarh fort is not for those with faint hearts. Listed as of the Most Haunted Places in India, and the world, it can give goosebumps just by its mere tale, forget a glimpse.
Bhangarh is a city in India that was built in 1613 and is famous for its historic ruins within the bhangra. It is still a popular travel destination. Locals refer to this place as the Bhoot Bangla claiming that the palace is abuzz with paranormal activity.
Tourists claim t have seen ghastly apparitions along with music and dancing coming from within the fortress and city. Ghosts and ghouls are removed to roaming Bhangarh, with strange noises and bizarre activities.
Short History
Bhangarh was built in 1613 in Rajasthan, the fort is an ancient specimen. Built for his son man Singh I, by Madha Singh, one of the nine ratnas of Emperor Akbar’s courts. It is believed that over 10,000 people used to reside in the fort.
Place Caught In A Limbo
A local black magician fell in love with her (Princess Ratnavai is believed to have been most beautiful). Since there was a way by which he could attainder.
He decided to use black magic to enchant the oil intended to be used by her, such that the mere touch of the oil would hypnotize the princess and she would surrender herself but before, the princess got a whiff of his trickery. She threw it off.
This was the doomsday clock of bhangarh and the whole town was set on a countdown. The magic worked and caused the boulder to crush the tantric to his death.
Warning Signs
There are warning signs all around Bhangarh fort. Even the archaeological survey of India has put sign boards strictly warning that nobody should enter after dark since 1951 because of getting lost and even deaths in the palace.
Entry Banned For Foreigners
The entry of foreigners is not freely permissible because there’s a large number of foreigners getting lost in the region.
Roofless Houses In Bhangarh
Yes, every house located in the entire area is roofless because as per the locals, it is impossible to construct a roof on these houses, since as soon as one person built the roof on his house, it collapses, which has killed many people in past.
Incidents
Two young boys decided to spend a night in the fort but never came back. One is looking for some ghost and adventure hunting or is looking exclusively for the haunted fort experience.
