Q. Can you tell us a bit about your journey — how did you get started as a fashion influencer?

Yes, I started my Instagram page in January 2022, and I chose fashion because since childhood, I have been interested in clothes, makeup, and getting ready.  

So somewhere inside, I thought that I had to do whatever I liked. During my college days, I used to watch a lot of videos of some YouTubers like Mridul Sharma, Manasi Mau, Anindita, and Quirky Miss. 

After watching them, I felt that I could also do it. That's why I started it in 2022.

Q. What inspired you to take content creation seriously, and what kept you going during tough times?

Honestly, I was quite serious from the beginning itself. Because I knew that there could be nothing better than this for me. 

I did not want to do any such job in which I was not interested. And content creation is one such thing that I like very much, and at the same time, I earn from this. 

So what could be better than this in life, that you do work of your interest and earn from it too. And I always wanted to win my father's heart. We are 3 sisters and 1 brother, and I was the only one who was very weak in studies right from the beginning. 

I had to convince him that I, too, can do something good in my life. What if I am weak in studies? And my parents never imagined that I would do something so good in my life. Now they are very happy. They are proud of me that I paved my own path.

And during my difficult times, my friends have motivated me the most, and they always remind me why I started this. My followers motivate me a lot. They are so kind.

Q. How would you describe your personal style in three words?

Simple, comfortable & whatever makes you feel beautiful.

Q. You’ve crossed 169K on Instagram and have 80K+ YouTube subscribers — what’s your secret to building a loyal audience?

No secrets, I just maintain consistency and try to show only realistic things.

Q. How involved is your family in your journey — are they supportive of your career path?

In the beginning, my parents did not know at all because they were not on social media either. And we are from Bihar, and my parents always stay in the village, so they did not understand the fashion here.

If I had told them in the beginning, then they probably would not have supported me. My mother knew a little, and she used to say that whatever you do, do it with proper understanding. 

And later, she started understanding; then she became very supportive of my work. In 2024, I told everything to my father everything. He became very happy. Both my father and mother remain really supportive of my work.

Q. Have you ever faced negativity or trolling online? How do you deal with it?

Touch wood, I haven’t faced any negativity or trolling till now and hopefully I don’t have to face it in the future too.
