Mansi Khare: What Most People Never See Behind Skincare Recommendations [Content Creator, 199k Followers, India]

Mansi Khare Interview

"Honest Skincare Always Outlasts Viral Trends."

With educational content rooted in research and authenticity, Mansi Khare has built a trusted space where skincare is simplified, not sensationalized. In this conversation with Eat My News, she discusses honest content creation, responsible recommendations, building audience trust, and why informed choices matter more than chasing every viral trend.

Q. Your content often feels very real and unfiltered. Was that a natural choice or something you leaned into after seeing audience response?

It has always been a natural choice for me. I never wanted my content to feel overly polished or scripted because skincare is personal and real. Over time, I realized people connected much more with honesty than perfection, so I continued creating content that genuinely reflects my opinions and experiences.

Q. In the skincare space, where advice is everywhere, how do you ensure you're giving value and not adding to the noise?

I always prioritize research before making recommendations. I study ingredient lists, refer to scientific evidence, verify brand claims, and simplify complex information so it's easy to understand.

My goal isn't to encourage people to buy every trending product—it's to educate them so they can make informed skincare decisions for themselves.

Q. You've been a public speaker as well. How has that shaped the way you communicate online?

Public speaking taught me that people remember stories and clarity far more than complicated explanations. It helped me communicate skincare in a simple, relatable way while making every conversation feel approachable rather than instructional.

I always want my audience to feel like they're talking to a friend, not sitting through a lecture.

Q. What's one misconception people have about being a skincare creator that you'd like to correct?

Many people assume skincare creators simply recommend products. In reality, responsible creators spend countless hours researching ingredients, understanding formulations, testing products, and ensuring the information they share is accurate, useful, and trustworthy.

There's far more work behind every recommendation than most people realize.

Q. Have you ever felt pressure to promote something you didn't fully believe in? How did you handle it?

Yes, and I've always chosen to say no. My audience's trust is far more valuable than any brand collaboration.
I only work with brands that genuinely align with my values and products that I personally feel confident recommending because credibility takes years to build and only moments to lose.

Q. What has been the most defining turning point in your journey so far?

The biggest turning point came when I stopped trying to follow trends and started creating educational content in my own style.
That's when I truly found my voice, built a stronger relationship with my audience, and experienced consistent growth. Authenticity proved to be much more powerful than imitation.

Q. What kind of conversations do you want your content to start, beyond just products and routines?

I want people to think critically about skincare instead of blindly following trends.

Healthy skin isn't about buying the most expensive products—it's about consistency, patience, understanding your skin, and making informed choices. If my content encourages people to become smarter consumers, I've achieved my goal.

Q. If your personality had to be described using three skincare ingredients, what would they be and why?

I would choose Niacinamide because I believe in balance and consistency.
Ceramides because I value building trust and creating a safe space for my audience.
And Retinal because meaningful results take patience. Just like skincare, personal growth is a long-term journey, and I truly believe lasting change comes with consistency.
