Your mental health is as important as your physical health. Mental health is often ignored but a mental disorder can cause a physical disease! So, it is to that extent you should care about yourself.
Proceed to see how you can keep good mental health.

  1. Start your day early.
It is said that ideas don’t fade out, instead, they are still there in the sky.
And based on scientists, these great ideas are said to be there in the sky and start to disperse in the latest third of the night and by the sunrise, they turn back. So, try your best to start your day within this time to have some of this awesomeness.
  1.  Nothing is perfect! Accept it
You are not alone. We all have issues. Everyone makes mistakes. You have to make mistakes to learn. There is no rule which says that you can’t make a mistake. In fact, only after making mistakes can a person learn, and that is the unsaid rule!
Everything in the world comes with a price. This price would be your time, your effort and the least costing price is your money! So, take it easy and don’t over-blame yourself for making a mistake as there is always something to learn.
  1. Have some time away from technology
Technology is becoming increasingly important as it shapes most of our daily tasks, but for your health, it is highly recommended that you take a break from it regularly due to its radiations and side effects.
2-3 hours every day is sufficient. See what other stuff you can do for fun. Taking time off from your mobile phones, laptops and desktops will have a refreshing effect on your mind.
  1. Try to have a positive mindset
You are becoming the one who you are in your thoughts, if you think you are good, you will be. If you think you are capable of doing great things, you will start acting in the same way.  And accordingly, if you think that you “ will not do well, are ugly, aren’t meant to do something special “, you will never do.
This is how it works simply.
Practice telling yourself that you can do whatever you want. And never let anyone tell you that you can not do anything.
  1. Practice speaking your thoughts out
It is so healthy to express yourself and your thoughts. Problems are most often solved when you speak your thoughts out. Letting people know what you are thinking can go a long way in solving disputes and helping you and the people around you be on the same page. Talking to people will make you understand them and they understand you.
If you are uncomfortable talking to people, you can write down your thoughts, your problems or whatever bothers you. Expressing what you feel goes a long way in building a healthy and positive mind.
  1.  Look for the silver lining in the clouds
Everything happens for a reason, so whatever happens to you, it is good for you. Keep this in mind. And believe that something nice is about to happen. This is how you can have a healthy lifestyle otherwise worry will destroy you. Always look for the good side of everything that happens to you, even if it doesn’t seem to be good, it will be later and you will acknowledge that.

  1. Pay attention to your nutrition
What you eat has a direct effect on your body and mind. It has been proven that if you eat healthy food, containing the right amount of nutrients, you will have a healthier mind as compared to the situation where you are munching junk food. What you eat now, therefore, will define, directly or indirectly, what you will be in the time to come. Your health is a very valuable asset, and it is your job to take care of it. Proper health will lead to an active mind while a negative health will make you vulnerable to a passive mind.

Conclusion
The steps mentioned above will go a long way in promoting a good mental health. Apart from the steps mentioned above, always do things which calm you down and make you feel at peace. Meditation and exercise is one method which many people employ to feel rejuvenated and relaxed.
Whatever the method may be, maintaining good mental health is extremely important and you should never underestimate its importance. Because after all, ‘A healthy mind breeds a healthy body and a happy life!’
