1) Tell us about your role and responsibilities at your college?

My role in college goes like this,I've been very active since the very first day of my college life. I was actively involved in our college election and won by majority of votes and became the Joint Secretary of the college in 1st year. Also I am part of the college society namely Sanskriti society of which I'm a core member with the post of Vice President.

With such posts that I've been entrusted with, I had responsibility of maintaining the decorum in college as well as be ears to students issues and help them deal with it.

2) What’s it like to juggle between a leadership role and normal college life?

It's definitely not a cake walk to maintain both roles parallel to each other but it's definitely manageable. I just try to give equal time to both my responsibilities as a leader as well as to attending classes.

3) Do you enjoy the kind of influence you hold at such a young age?

Yes, I definitely enjoy the kind of influence that I hold because this has been a great opportunity for me and I'm glad that have such experience.

4)What’s your message for parents to allow students to do things besides academics?

I just want to make a suggestion to parents that these extra curricular activities are as important as academics because this is what makes your child gain confidence in life.

5)What did you do in your current role that makes you feel proud of yourself?

As a  JS in 1st year, i've helped a lot of students with their issues and made sure their complaints were dealt with, while as a VC in society i've given many suggestions and idea that have improved the role of society in our college.

6) What’s your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

The only message that I want to deliver is that don't miss on any opportunity in your life. Grab on to it.
