Aparajita’s Youth Leadership Conference 10.0 Experience

I attended the 'Board of Young Leaders' conference on 18th and 19th January 2020 and I am going to admit that I've found the whole conference experience amazing - such a privilege for me to be able to attend.
I knew this was going to be something special from the opening session; from the welcome hug upon entering the room to the 'fun' bit with the presentation of dance sequences within the first hour.
The speakers' session started with a great opening keynote from Ms Purva Sharma, who provided a lot of insights regarding mindfulness and time management. The next session headed by Ms Dola Halder focused on 'Personal Branding' (one of my favourite sessions), drawing from her experiences in Pepsico. This was then followed by a panel session on 'How to make the workforce Industry ready' - and a very stimulating Q&A session from the floor. The following session with 'Digital Gandhi' was perhaps the best three hours of my life. It was such an incredible mix of mindless fun and soulful learning at the same time.
The next day, it was straight into the concurrent sessions – 'How to Own The Room You are in', 'The Art of Writing an email', and an invigorating panel session on achieving ‘Marketing Success and Entrepreneurship’. The final session was by Mr Ishan Manchanda who provided great practical insights in how to effectively engage with customers who are becoming ever more powerful in determining the directions our companies should go, how to effectively digest copious content in order to stay ahead of our peers, and stressed on the importance of learning ‘new world skills’.
There was so much good content that I wished I could have been in more than one place at once, which brings me to my final point; the long-lasting friendships I made there and the awesome memories I'll always cherish. Investing my time here was one of the best decisions I've made.

The journey continues as now I am a part of the Eatizens family and am looking forward to contributing there.
