1. Tell us more about your company and your journey.

We are a not for profit organization working toward the betterment of the startup ecosystem by building a renowned startup community. We started educating students about entrepreneurship by organizing workshops in their schools and colleges. So far we have organized more than 10 startup workshops that witnessed the footfall of more than 1500 students.

If I talk about my journey, I belong to a small town of Eastern UP. I have seen the resources crisis and the unavailability of platforms. After completing my schooling in my hometown, when I came to Delhi for higher studies, I came to know that there are a lot of resources present which need to be brought among the students to make them creative and help them in solving real-life problems.

Then I founded this community The Hustler Team with two of my classmates Akash Kumar and Gautam Mishra.

2. How did you come up with this idea and go about executing it?

We started with small meetups of 30 people who come on weekends and talk about startups and technology. Gradually we built the community and organized the Startup Summit Gurgaon which witnessed the presence of the eminent personalities from the ecosystem and more than 300 startups.

We followed a strategy of expanding our network and caring about the people who are in our network. In return, we got so much support from startup founders and investors. We reached out to 10000+ people in the startup ecosystem.

3. What has been your biggest challenge that you faced and how did you overcome that?

The biggest challenge was to figure out the right people and reach out to them. I believe if you are not with the right people and a good team, your vision will be shattered. Luckily I have both of them.

When the idea of creating a community came in my mind, I discussed it with my classmate Akash. Once we started the organization we reached out to successful people through Social Media and on boarded them as our mentor.

4. What do you think are the most important qualities of a successful entrepreneur?

Entrepreneurship is all about finding solutions for problems. Having an attitude of problem-solver helps a lot. Whenever an entrepreneur finds him/her in a difficult situation they don’t panic. They come up with solutions.

Another quality of an entrepreneur is they make something out of nothing which means with limited resources they try to solve the problem of people and build a business.

5. What are some of the most important factors for running a successful business?

People, businesses are run by the people so I believe people are the most important factors. If you are good at dealing with the people you can run your business successfully. Only the people around you can help you in achieving your vision.

So it is the most important thing for an entrepreneur to learn how to deal with people. I quote it as the Greatest equation of the universe is “The People Equation”. One who can solve it can conquer the world.

6. What are your tips for the first time and aspiring entrepreneurs?

I suggest the first time and aspiring entrepreneurs start as early as possible. You get abundant time to fail and learn and once you get started stuck to your core and keep making progress daily.

Get the right set of people in your team and around you, they will help you in all the tough times. Keep people on the priority of your business.
