1. Tell us more about your role and responsibilities at your college.

As a treasurer of the society, my role broadly expects me to handle finance and allocation of right of money on different events our society organises. Keeping a track of the money received through sponsorships and being accountable to the teacher in charge.

2. What have been your biggest challenges and learnings from what you do?

Previously I struggled around self confidence for speaking in front of the  crowd.
But after I became the public relations head, my leadership qualities improved, my self confidence improved. Hence becoming the treasurer was just another achievement in my life.

Some major things I have learned in this role in dealing with people, and coordinating with them.

3. Do you enjoy the kind of influence you hold at such a young age?

Yes, in fact there is no harm if people look upto you and you inspire them in some or the other way. This way they even get motivated to achieve things beyond their comfort zone.

4. What are your career goals and how is what you do going to help you with that?

My career goal is to become the best of myself in the financial sector.

My role as a treasurer provides me with a little gist of the actual job I am aiming for, leadership is a quality that the cooperate world looks for always.

5. How can we encourage more young students such as yourself to take up leadership roles?

To the young students, I would only like to tell that being a leader will challenge you in  numerous ways.

And in the end you'll realize that the journey was worth the person you are now.

6. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Attending conferences and doing internship is always a good idea.

However students may find it boring to attend conferences but trust me on this, it would only benefit you as a person. Nothing goes to waste.

You always learn something or the other from in and every experience in your life.
