1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I come from the city of confluence of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers, Allahabad. I had been a computer engineer prior to moving into interior designing and blogging. I have been residing in Delhi for the since a decade. It has been a great learning experience for me moving from one profession to the other.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

I am an avid traveller, I have moved and stayed in four cities till date and have always been a food explorer. I love to find new places and things to eat, especially street food.

I always used to explore new places and tell my friends about the same and loved when they enjoyed the same. So eventually about a year back I thought why not share the same with everyone who is interested in.

3. Is vlogging and Instagram content creation a financially sustainable career?

Well simply saying yes. But there are a lot of technicalities in between. If one is choosing this as a career one needs to know that this is more about your passion for the field and you might land up with some money as well if you are persistent towards your passion.

4. Who is your favourite creator and why?

There are a lot of good creators out there, but I admire the work of 'The Food Attacker' the most as he has worked on to provide some really good home content. His recipes have inspired me a lot to work on my content, giving me the motivation to move ahead in this field.

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

If you're living in Delhi, you have something interesting cooking in every corner of the city. This city has been a hub of things having numerous versions of the same dish and each different in its own way. One just needs to go out and taste and there you get all the content you need to churn out.

6. What does your typical day look like?

Being a freelancer is a way of life and one needs to have that temperament to go and experiment. I had been a part of the corporate sector and moving on to something like this is very different. We don't have a fixed routine like a regular 9-5 job which makes it both interesting and exciting.

The thrill of having a new experiment and making something new every day keeps us going. But my daily musts include an early morning wake up, yoga and exercise, a balanced diet for the body and a soulful content for the mind be it from a good read, watch or music.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

There are a lot of great books that I have read in the past, but my favourite book is 'The Secret'. It gives me the motivation to be positive and move ahead in life with a positive note and achieve everything.

8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

The most common query that many aspiring bloggers ask me is how do we grow our page fast. The only answer I have for them is 'Content'. Nothing can stop a good content from being noticed. Content is not something that you find, it's something that you create.

You need to have a keen eye and keep on developing new things. We are living in an age with abundance of material within our reach. What we need to develop is ourselves. Always have your own style, your own streak of art in whatever you create.
