1. Tell us more about your background and journey.

I was eight when I was introduced to art by my mother. She was the one who handed me the brush first. My brother and I were always fond of the art. Now, he is fond of drawing whereas I paint.

 

2. When did you decide you wanted to be a painter/illustrator?

Painting makes me feel relaxed and satisfied. It give wings for your imagination. There is no boundary for my imagination.

 

3. Is it a financially stable career?

No, but I still paint because it’s what I love to do and it helps me think deep.

 

4. Who is your favorite illustrator and why?

Hernan Bas for his amazing mix of colors in his paintings.


5. Where do you get inspired from to create art?

Parks, lakes, mountains, anything that’s naturally beautiful inspire me. Nature speaks a lot than humans. Another bridge for humans and nature communication is painting.

 

6. What does your typical day look like?

As painting requires a lot of patience I need to be stress free and open my heart to my passion, I try to maintain that the entire day.

 

7. What piece of advice would you like to give to future aspiring illustrators?

If anyone is choosing their passion, there will be multiple number of problems that they will have to face, so it’s important to choose a profession like this with no doubts and with a strong mind. It’s also important to be financially prepared.

 

8. Which is your favorite book and why?

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - It’s a fantasy genre that influences and makes an imaginary world seem real.
