1. Tell us more about your role and responsibility at your college?

I am the CR of two discipline and a campus ambassador at younity with that I am also a part of Enactus Gargi and NSS Gargi . To be a CR of a class in itself is a very hectic task as you act as a coordinator between students and teachers. Coming to Enactus , an internationally renowned organisation which focuses on social entrepreneurship gives you a lot of opportunity to learn and grow. From stall duties in various fest and places to attending meetings and working on collaborations consumes a lot of time.

2. How can we encourage more young  students such as yourself to take up leadership role?

Leadership itself is a process of motivating yourself and others to work towards achieving a specific vision. According to me,
the first step towards being a good leader is to have the desire to take the lead. Inspire yourself first then inspire others to work with you. One can graduate into being a leader by only practicing the art of being a follower.
An initial step on the path towards becoming a great leader is to be a good follower.
And following the path of dedication and perseverance will  eventually lead to a successful venture

3. What have been the biggest challenges and learning from what you do?

The biggest challenge  and learning which I faced is to cope up with pressure handling skills i.e. eventually meeting the deadlines. A lot of times it becomes difficult to maintain an equilibrium between your academics and extracurricular activities . so it's very necessary to prioritize things and not get distracted by the shiny things on your path and remain focused on your end goal.

4. What are your career goals and how is what you are doing is going to help you with that?

My aim in life is to work in a corporate field and  Yes surely the current roles are the stepping stone towards the success in my life as these roles helped me to be more disciplined and organized . They help me to develop situational awareness and anticipate the bigger problem before they occur and how to find a valuable solution for it. Being in this position helps me to recognize opportunities which others overlook that certainly help me to get recognition. Moreover these responsibilities gives me a room for recreation and  to take up new challenge that certainly help me to learn new things in life.

5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships to attend conferences?

Internships are a great way to gain hands-on, professional experience that will be valuable during our job search and certainly internship experience, coupled with our academic pursuits, will add a competitive edge to our resume and make us more hireable and as far as conferences are concerned, they are the key opportunity for network building which  improves our presentation and communication skills. Listening to and participating in lively discussions at conferences can give us new ideas, help refine our existing concepts, and maybe even change our mind about some key issues in specific  fields  and moreover it all it add up to our CV and prepare us for our career goals.
