1. Tell us about your role and responsibility at your College?

I am a former member of Marketing and Sales team at Enactus Gargi and currently serving as a Project Head of 'Neev', one of the three projects our team is working on.
I was also a volunteer at Connecting Dreams Foundation, Gargi Chapter and later served as a Project Head for one of its project 'Alfaaz'.
As a Project Head, I am involved in making the project run successfully and take it to a newer level making it sustainable and achieving its short and long term goals.
Apart from these two societies, I was actively involved in taking part in competitions and events and also served as an NSS volunteer.

2. How can we encourage more young students such as yourself to take up leadership role?

I feel that spreading awareness is the key towards it. Starting from school, the students should be kept informed and well awared that colleges are for overall development and being a part of a college society is an achievement in itself.
You not only get to improve your CV but to learn many aspects and get insights of professionalism and develop skills accordingly.
A leadership position, however, helps you get a deeper insight and prepares you for future challenges and helps you come up with more creative solutions and prepares you for a real business world by imbibing leadership qualities and new skills.

3. What have been your biggest challenges and learning from what you do?

I feel that the biggest challenge had been to manage all the work virtually, without being able to actually do the ground work given the current circumstances and situation.
And at the same time, to me,  this is the biggest learning as well as it prepared me for challenges that might come and that with right zeal, hardwork and creative thinking, one can overcome them and still function well.

4. What are your career goals and how is what you are doing is going to help you with that?

Being able to lead a project and working closely with it has taught me various skills like leadership, time management, delegation etc.
It had made me develop a more professional attitude towards work and people.
All the things learnt while working and being a part of Enactus Gargi shall prove to be extremely helpful for me in the professional world, as it, not only builds my CV but also makes me a better, improved individual with refined skill set and a more concerned approach towards entrepreneurship.

5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

I would like to tell all the students that internships, conferences, college societies play a major role in our development as practical knowledge is what matters in the end and should be given more emphasis on.
Be active, participate in events, engage yourselves with work and learn new things as whatever you do will definitely fetch you a new learning which will help you in the longer run.
