1. Tell us about your background and journey.

So basically I came from a mechanical engineering background but I was passionate about drawing, paintings, musics & photography.

In short I was completely into arts field but due to some circumstances I have to moved to science stream and get into engineering. Journey was not so easy as it was hard to convenience my dad about my passion and not make carrier in engineering.

2. How and when did you realize your passion for photography?

When I completed my 10th and went to a aptitude test, the outcome of result was I can make my carrier in the field of arts, and when I was in 8th class, after giving my intermediate drawing test, I had a dream that one day I wanna go to sir J.J college of arts.

But after 10th, my entire journey changed and when I got my 1st drop in engineering, finally I applied in J.J for photography. From then till date I didn't left my passion.

3. What are some tips you would like to share with amateur photographers?

For amateur photographers, I would like say don't do photography for fun, just to upload pics on social media and get likes. also some of the amateurs i have seen doing event photography with less amount as it causes impact for photographers like us to survive in the market.

Do get proper knowledge about photography. Be patient and let people should know you that you are a photographer, don't just show off.

4. What are the important skills one should have to be a successful photographer?

Once my sir told me that when your camera shutter counts comes to nearly 100 k then you should call yourself as a successful photographer. For being successful you need to have patience, strength to face criticism on social media platforms, and click every picture with a smile.

5. What are various opportunities available for aspiring photographers?

Day by day technology is getting better and better, so if a photographer is getting himself/herself upgraded, definitely they gonna have opportunities in the market.

Online Marketing, e-commerce websites, web designing, in fact virtual photography is the hottest topic in town, in which many of the photographer has earn opportunities and got successful in it.

6. Which is your favorite book and why?

These days in lock-down I have been reading criminal mind books like My name is abu salem, dongri to dubai, byculla to Bangkok. Just looking from there point of view how a poor and helpless boy can turn himself into a underworld don under what conditions and situations.

Nothing serious as such because I was just studying criminal psychology. But my favorite book till date is Stephan Hawking : Brief answers to the Big question.

There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs. So never judge any photographer because after all it's his/her vision that you never going to understand.
